What customers say
Great spot by the Tissington Trail! Staff are friendly, facilities clean & pitches roomy. Families love the pool/playground. Some note older restrooms & minor cleanliness/noise. Pods & bell tents get good reviews for comfort.

This is a beautiful park in…
Powered grass tent campsite
Liked This is a beautiful park in a fantastic setting. The facilities are extremely good, with plenty of showers and toilets which are impecably clean. The on-site shop is basic but caters for most things you are likely to need (forgot) and the staff around the park are brilliant.
We would particulalry like to thank Kerry and Sean whom helped us retrieve our daughters phone which was left behind (in the bins of all places). Sean particualrly chose to personally deliver the phone back to us to avoid risking damage in postage. This is well above and beyond what we would expect and goes to show how much they value their customers...Thank you!! :)
Disliked Nothing.

Powered grass tent campsite
Liked Relaxing, peaceful location with some great views. Well laid out site with the camping pitches right near the site entrance. Good size pitches. Large play area for the kids and a swimming pool you can book a session in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Shower/toilet block was clean and located close to tent pitches
One of our group had one of the pods next to the camping area and was very satisfied with it, fitted with double bed and bunk beds, plenty of power sockets fitted with USB chargers

Nice clean site, well spaced pitches.…
Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Nice clean site, well spaced pitches. Swimming pool was excellent.
Disliked No Elsan disposal point near to the touring pitches, so had to use the van to drive round to empty. Not very well signposted on arrival, and for directions to reception to book in. Shame no Wi-fi for tourers.

Will re book mainly down to the great location.
Camping pod
Liked Fantastic location! Direct access to the Tissington trail. Clean, tidy and well organised site. A bit more structured than I like in a campsite but the pods were great and gave us a bit more space than we're used to. Ensuite private toilet and shower were a big bonus. A warm welcome at check in too even though it was after hours.
Disliked Hard beds. Took a sleeping bag and slept on the duvet provided.

Excellent site with good facilities
Powered grass tent campsite
Liked Lovely location. Good size pitch. Helpful staff in Reception. Nice toilet/shower facilities that were kept spotless and in full working order. We were on pitch 1 which was a lovely quiet spot. Easy access to the Tissington Trail right next to the site and good access to nearby Ashbourne and Dovedale. Burger van on site if you can't be bothered to cook, doing food throughout the day. Pitch was fairly flat. Whole site was kept clean and tidy. Not a lot of light pollution so was great for looking at the stars on a clear night,
Disliked The site has a indoor swimming pool, however, it is only open from 10am - 3pm each day and you have to pre-book a slot. Unfortunately this meant that we didn't get to use it, as we were out walking at those times. Would have been nice if it was open in the evenings, so it would be able to use it after being out all day. Also, the site appears to be on the flight path for a nearby airport, so you did get a lot of noise from aeroplanes. This is the first time where we'd been to a campsite that didn't provide wifi for the whole site, which was a bit disappointing.
