Liked Amazing site so peaceful with outstanding views. Great facilities, hot and spacious showers, good size level pitches. Dog friendly pub within walking distance although uphill back to site! Need to access site via Scotland which made our journey to site longer but very scenic.
Disliked Not a clear sky on night we stayed unfortunately (I know the weather can not be booked!) However if it had been couple of motor homes had external LED lights on all night!

Liked Pool view pitch, arrived after cafe closed but was able to pick own spot. Had a level pitch. Shower and toilet facilities modern, clean and hot. Great walks from site. Cafe served great breakfast.
Disliked Pitches need to be more clearly marked as people were pitching up very close to others. Day we left there were 6 vans in 7 spaces.

Liked Secure site behind a great pub serving food and good selction of drinks.
Recieved a deatailed welcome text message and repsonded promptly to my query. When arrived was checked in by Sam from the pub who was very welcoming and friendly. Pitches appear fairly level, good wifi service and WC's and showers were clean and warm. Water and electric hook up on the pitch.
Had a meal in the pub which was lovely although got very busy as was open mic night but good atmosphere. Hoping to book again for a few nights in the summer as has a good size beer garden which would be great in the summer.

Liked Nice site, friendly owners. Self check-in plenty of info provided before arrival due to being low season, spacious pitches, clean facilities which are in process of being decorated. Pub welcoming dog friendly nice meals. Didn't walk into Bridgnprth but appears close enough to do. 4G available on site WiFi in pub as advertised.
Disliked Could hear dogs barking most night (nearby kennels?) wasn't loud to wake but could hear if you woke.

From the manager: Hi Julie Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review — it’s really appreciated. We’re delighted you enjoyed the site, found the self check-in and pre-arrival information helpful, and that you liked the spacious pitches and clean facilities. It’s also great to hear you felt welcome in the pub and enjoyed the food — and that the dog-friendly atmosphere and WiFi were just as advertised. Thank you as well for mentioning the facilities refurbishment; we’re gradually updating them during the quieter season to keep disruption to a minimum. We appreciate your feedback regarding the dogs barking at night. As you suspected, this can occasionally be from nearby kennels, particularly during quieter hours when background noise is low. We’re glad it wasn’t enough to disturb your sleep, but we do understand how it could be noticeable. Thanks again for your recommendation, and we’d love to welcome you back for another visit in the future. Warm regards Peter & The Team

Liked Friendly warm welcome. Helpful in getting us connected to WiFi as site is a bit of a dead zone (had to stand near cafe to get signal) Good size pitch, peaceful and quiet. Great location to explore. Cafe has good variety (winter opening hrs 9-3) stopped mid week so bar was not open. Liked being able see pigs, sheep and deer in fields around the site. Good value
Disliked Few spiders webs in showers and loo blocks. only 2 ladies WC cubical so can imagine a bit of a queue in the summer when busy.
