Scotland is probably the last on the list when it comes to the world of wine, however it appears that come September all may change as the country’s very first wine grapes are set to be harvested from a vineyard on the south coast of Fife. Located just a short drive from award-winning Lovells & Tiltridge Vineyards, this family-run farm site is just moments from the beautiful Malvern Hills and boasts far-reaching views of the surrounding countryside. The site offers a real home from home and even provides guests with a camp stew every Friday evening around the communal campfire, followed by hot chocolate. A covered recreation area has a pool table, balance boards, slackline, comfy sofas and communal kitchen, with new toilet and shower facilities.
Lovells Vineyard is a 1.5-acre site that produces award-winning British classics, most recently winning the Silver Award at the UKVA National Wine Competition. Visitors can arrange to tour the vineyards and taste the wine themselves in its spectacular riverside location.
The yurts are traditionally furnished providing authentic Mongolian charm. They sleep four people and include four single beds with bedding, firewood and tea-making facilities. There’s a great range of on-site facilities for guests to use.

Situated just ten minutes from Biddenden Vineyards, and twenty minutes from Chapel Down winery, this small site is perfectly situated for wine lovers. The site is exceptionally well-kept and offers the very best in wild camping. Home-cooked food is available and the friendly owner does all he can to ensure guests have a memorable stay. There’s a well-stocked fishing lake on site teeming with a variety of fish including tench and bream, and it only costs £3 a day to fish. Even well-behaved four-legged friends are welcome at this lovely site.
Biddenden Vineyard is Kent’s oldest commercial vineyard which is set in 23 acres of beautiful Kentish countryside. Eleven varieties of grape are grown to produce top-quality wines, which guests are more than welcome to try on the guided tour. Meanwhile, Chapel Down is the market leader in English wines and produces distinctive, World Class wines. Visitors are free to stroll in the grounds including the beautiful old herb garden and the vineyards.
The electric grass pitches cater for tents, tourers and motorhomes and feature a 16-amp hook-up and no restriction on pitch size. Includes an awning, gazebo, pup tent and up to two dogs.
