Liked Good pitch sizes

Disliked Reception staff was rude and unhelpful, had to pay for parking in Holmes pierrepont to use the playground that was advertised, facilities were unclean half of the toilets didn’t work, the showers were the worst we have ever been too.

Also might have been worth letting people know there was the rum and reggae festival on particularly when booking with young children it went on to 23:00

We would like to clarify that the festival you mentioned was not held on our site and was in fact taking place several miles away at a different country park. We were not informed of this event in advance, and therefore were unable to pass on any details to guests at the time. We appreciate how this may have caused concern, particularly when travelling with young children.

We are also sorry to hear your comments regarding cleanliness, facilities, and your experience with reception staff. This is not the standard we aim to provide, and your feedback has been noted and will be reviewed with the relevant teams.

Liked Fantastic greeting when we arrived the receptionist was very helpful got us on our usual pitch. Spotless clean site showers were clean and tidy . We're returning customers and would definitely recommend this beautiful well maintained site. Lovely walks round the watersports lake. Loved our stay

Liked The campsite was tidy and had nice facilities.

Disliked There was a music festival nearby, and loud music played until 11 p.m both days. Even though we advised we are traveling with young children, there was no warning of this from the campsite. When we spoke to someone in reception the next day, she was very rude. We would not visit again as there was no heads-up about this before hand.
