What customers say
This campground has a great location, perfect for visiting Nottingham and the National Water Sports Centre. Guests love the spacious sites, friendly staff, and easy check-in. While generally clean and well-kept, some mention the washrooms are a bit dated or not always tidy. Still, its family-friendly vibe and nearby activities make it a top pick.

Don't go. Woeful.
Powered grass campsite
Liked Nice green space. Good for groups and children.
Disliked Absolutely discusting showers. Dirty with dirt on top. Shower drains blocked with human hair. Cleaner was present in person but not actually doing the job. Wowfully inadequate number of toilet/shower units for the amount of guests. Arrival at the site was the worst greeting of our whole trip (3+ weeks touring). The pre-arrival information email arrived in my inbox the day after arrival. Finally, I had to ask a staff member where the grey water waste drop was. He showed me and commented on how inadequate the facilities at the whole site are. On the grey drop it would have been inpossible to use without collapz pipes due to it's position not that that mattered anyway as it was blobked and just overflowed. It was a joy to leave this site.

A good well positioned site. More cleaning needed.
Powered grass campsite
Liked Great site, lawn well kept, good shop, excellent location for National Water Sports centre.
Disliked Having individual toilet and shower cubicles meant very long delays when just waiting for the toilet. They also were not kept particularly clean, and I couldn’t see a cleaning schedule. This is a shame as facilities appeared to be new.
Can be loud near the road.

Large, clean site
Powered grass campsite
Liked Spacious site even though it was a very busy weekend as there was a rugby tournament on and a huge regatta on the lake. Lovely area with plenty to do for kids.
Disliked Showers were cold, signage to the site and allocated pitch could have been better. Shop was not very big and lacked variety of goods for such a large site.

Left a day early. Nobody there to tell - door locked - said open.

Liked Nothing
Disliked Not enough toilets & showers for the amount of people on the site. Not very clean either. No WiFi on site.

Disappointing
Powered grass campsite
Liked Spacious pitches
Disliked The toilets were horrendously smelly. The noise from other camping groups within the park after midnight was ridiculous. Even though the security van was doing its rounds did nothing about the noise.

Lovely clean site with good shower blocks
Powered grass campsite
Liked Lovely spacious pitches , self check in and email with all relevant details was great .
Disliked Not checking in until 2.00 as nearly tea time by the time we set up . If you have to be off your pitch by 10
Then surely the next person could be on by 12
