Positiv The site was one of the best that we have stayed at over the last two weeks. The fishing lake was well stocked, the shop had all you needed and the bar facilities and swimming pools were an added bonus. The site residences even arranged entertainment such as football, quizzes and bingo and made you feel truly welcomed.

Positiv Had the pleasure of staying here twice within the space of a week - beautiful location surrounded by nature, incredibly peaceful in the evenings. Rob and the team are great hosts, going out of their way to make sure you feel welcomed. All the facilities were clean, hot water for showers in the morning, food from the restaurant was lovely and the whole vibe of the camp was great!

Negativ Only dislikes were me not having time for some fishing and not getting myself a second steak from the restaurant!

The goats are at the campsite to stay! Due to the drought, they can get off the island they live on as the lake has dried up in places and after numerous attempts to move them into a nearby field, so they are not near the camping field, they always find a way to escape their new surroundings and find their way back to their island.
They are very timid and will only be interested in you if you offer them food. They don't cause any problems and I love them! Ha Ha! They are doing a great job of keeping the bushes and trees trimmed down to keep the sight looking nice and means we can work on other areas of the site.
