Sandford Holiday Park

Positiv overall the camp was ok.the pitch was perfect.
most staff were very friendly. it seemed clean and maintained well
hourly bus routes to Poole and swanage.
it seems a very good place for families

Negativ right. I do realise it wasn't main season, but, on a heatwave Sunday afternoon who decided to shut the swimming pools?????
I come out of the showbar after bingo (20:10) to find the shop shut (well ok) the fish and chip shop shut and the only open fast food chicken shop, out of chicken.
where did the roofing nail come from that went through my sandal while walking along a main walkway????
only a little gripe but I was travelling alone for an event in poole, there really wasn't a pub. there was a showbar, (nice) and there restaurant / costa / bar but no real 'away from kids' place for adults. I know its a kids place really but this is the third park dean I have stayed at the others had one.

Positiv Size of pitch was great on touring site especially as we have large motorhome. Good bus access to Poole/ Wareham and swanage.

Negativ Cleanliness of toilet/showers was poor. Although it states no e scooters, this is not enforced although many security patrols were seen during our stay. Although we didn’t have any children with us I feel the prices of the activities were too high

Positiv Location, friendly, something for everyone. Toilets and showers clean and nice. All good

Negativ Dog field could be bigger as there is space. E Scooters supposed to be banned but were zooming about .

Positiv The overall setup with facilities and restaurant was really good. It was a busy weekend but everything went down well with access to everything available and the staff were great.

Negativ The showers and ablutions were in a off state and really need a revamp. The luke warm showers were the pits for me I can't understand the saving from warm to hot .... so unnecessary. The wifi too was terrible without anybooister in a major Park like this is insane in 2026. They do it throughout Ireland but perhaps we are behind in technology but I believe it's just "cheap"

Positiv We loved the site perfect

Negativ With all the places available we was placed on 201 wright under trees no sun at all. And the person next to us had spread out so far we had to drive in to pitch and place ourselves further under trees in order to get in. We had a good ten empty spots around us 😩😩😩

Positiv Very organised on checkin, pitches are a good size, facilities are clean and amenities are great

Negativ Dogs are not allowed in the show bar and didn’t want to leave them in the tent/van so didn’t get chance to see the entertainment
