We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the surrounding area and found the pitches to be good during your stay.

We're sorry that only one of the shower shacks had hot water available while you were with us. The shower shacks are gas-powered, and unfortunately the gas bottle supplying one of the units ran out unexpectedly. This has now been replaced, and the shower is back in full working order.

Positiv Hard standing pitch was great with a nice grass area. Kitchen and toilet were clean and tidy.

Positiv A small and quiet site. Good price.

Negativ Lack of detail in email communications and poor signage on site meant it was not clear that we were in the right location. Toilet and washing facilities are basic and dated.

Positiv The site was quiet and peaceful and the spaces were large.

Negativ The 2 showers would only go really cold and really hot and there wasn’t much privacy. Arrival was a bit strange because I wasn’t given a pitch number, so just had to guess.

Positiv Beautiful site good basic facilities. Loved the spacious surrounding countryside.
Good value.
Water close by. Very different site people friendly.

Negativ In flight path to Gatwick Airport! (A bit interesting a little noisy at night not a lot can be done).
Bracket broken holding men’s shower up little poor on site maintenance.

Positiv The setting for the campsite was beautiful, we loved exploring the grounds including the Japanese garden with fish to watch and the woodlands. Plenty of space, and the pitches were a great size and flat. Washing up space was clean and tidy. A great site that we would definitely return to if in the area. Everyone seemed to find a pitch easily, and there were no issues with the check in/pitch up process.

Negativ Shower shacks were a lovely idea but not for us! Couldn't quite get the temperature right. We just used the showers in the main toilet block instead.
