Croft Lane Green Camping

Positiv I had such a wonderful stay at Croft Lane. Charlie was really welcoming and helpful, showing me where everything is on the site and offering to help if needed (it was a very, very wet weekend!). She also had some great advice about local walks, sea swimming spots and places to eat. I had a peaceful time and would certainly visit again. The shower under the willow tree was especially lovely. Positiv Good sized pitches, friendly people, small play area for the children

Positiv A spacious and quiet field, horses to the front, cows to the back.
A small play area for the little ones.
Compost toilets really not that bad (it was my first experience) plenty of toilet paper, sawdust and hand sanitizer available.
Washing up area was clean, I didn’t use the cold shower but it was pretty nestled amongst the willow tree.

Vom Platzbetreiber: Thank you for commenting on your stay at our campsite. it is good to hear that the compost loos were better than what you were expecting - we do have reed diffusers in each of them and regularly spray with lavender and sweep and check that loo paper and saw dust are in good supply.
I agree with you that the willow tree is so pretty.

Have only put 8 for facilities/cleanliness only because it is what it is whilst the compost loo won’t be to everyone’s liking it was kept well stocked and clean. Despite the wind and rain we had a wonderful weekend away

Positiv We love this camp site!! We’ve stayed here for a few years now and every time the owners are so helpful and accommodating. This year they offered we could pitch early and even offered to dry items if we needed it after heavy rain. We’ll be back next year! 😁👍

wherever possible we try to accommodate campers early or late arrival times and the same is true for late departures too.
We do make a point of ensuring the simple facilities are kept clean and tidy and well stocked.

Positiv Simplicity but the added extra of charging points and tumble drying was great. The details of the area was very helpful.

Negativ The smell on the toilets. No roof on the shower.
