Positiv Everything! This is our fourth visit and always our favourite site. Lovely and quiet, great woodland area for kids and good facilities including a little store and communal fridge. Just 20 mins from Southwold too.

We walked to the local pub (The Racehorse) for a roast and it didn't disappoint.

Positiv Our second visit this year, this time we brought family with us and it was again perfect, I knew it would be! Not basic at all but small, retro or vintage and perfectly formed with beautiful attention to detail by Sally. My niece wondered at fresh flowers in the loos every day and adored the Faith in Nature Hand soap.

The children were always safe to explore and had the best fun as did their dogs and ours. It was so lovely for them to be able to run around across to ours from their pitch. The swing was fabulous they both loved it right outside their pitch. The table tennis was a big hit and challenge too!

We can’t thank Sally enough she is such a lovely host nothing is too much trouble and she and her Mum are always happy to talk.

We woke early a couple of days and were rewarded with a chorus of Goldcrest and Spotted Flycatcher, amongst many others we already knew amazing!

Negativ That I didn’t pre-book the pub! I had promised my family a meal we walked down on our last night and walked back disappointed. It’s a community run pub with real camra ales we had enjoyed in May. I was so sorry.

I am really sorry that the pub was too busy to accommodate your group of seven. The Racehorse pub recommends booking in advance to avoid any disappointment. (www.westhallpub.com) Glad to hear that the local fish & chippy got you sorted instead!)

Positiv Lovely and quiet small campsite, lots of room and fantastic setting in amongst the trees.
Clean toilets and shower, great little on site store with a good range of essentials.
Can’t think of anything we didn’t like!
Definitely coming back!

Positiv Beautiful small site with mowed pitches surrounded by trees. Very quiet, out of the way location.

Negativ Shower not so great (temporarily I guess).

We are pleased that the new shower unit was fitted on Saturday! (Your visit was for one night last Thursday, so you would have had to manage with the old temperamental one!)

However, even at the best of times, the facilities here are limited. We offer a simple, ‘back to basics’ experience. Anyone requiring more should consider booking a larger, commercial site.

Positiv Lovely site for the kids to get back to nature - with hammocks; fire pits and rope swings and just a generally lovely atmosphere.
