Positiv We really liked this campsite. In the non electric part of the field you can choose your own spot. We spent three nights here, then decided to stay longer, so booked another three nights but on electric hook up. We have a campervan. The toilets we found to be clean, and the showers were hot when we used them.

Positiv We enjoyed our stay here. We were in the non electric field and it was very quiet and peaceful. The toilets and showers were good.

Positiv We much prefer the ‘almost wild camping’ to a proper campsite, and for us this was just the thing. It’s not far from Bakewell, a nice little town for a few hours out. It was quite a busy campsite as we stayed on a Friday and Saturday night, but nice and quiet with everyone seeming to enjoy themselves without being rowdy. We would use this site again.

Positiv This was the closest I could find to be able to attend a funeral 9 miles away, but we were both surprised by how peaceful it was. Beautiful views, peace and quiet. Just as we like it. The showers and toilets are clean and adequate, and we were fine with it, but it is very rustic. Almost wild camping. We loved it and would defiantly go again if we are in that area. We have a VW campervan.
