Em va agradar This is such a beautiful campsite, it is taken care of so well and guests are always made to feel welcome. Sally and Richard go above and beyond to make everyone's stay as good as it can possibly be. This is my 3rd stay here and I look forward to going back again soon. It is all the seemingly small touches, like flowers in the shower and toilet, milk and tea available, hot water, everything lovely and clean, there is so much thought gone into everything.

Lovely spot and not too busy.…

Em va agradar Lovely spot and not too busy. The chair to watch the sunset was spot on and the whole vibe was very relaxed. The store was also supper useful with a fridge and freezer for guests along with lots of essentials including chocolate to buy! We were on our cycles and highly recommend the site.

Hot water is freely available at the washing up sink and wash basins, plus there’s an electric kettle in the store. But Yes! £1 coin is required to operate the shower.
Cyclists - please let us know if you are a single cyclist (with no vehicle) and we’ll give you a £1 for a complimentary shower!

Em va agradar Beautiful, small site in idyllic setting, particularly liked the artistic touches - lovely flower arrangements - and a great pub just down the road. Sally and team were very friendly and welcoming.

This is a lovingly run campsite with your enjoyment paramount.

Em va agradar It is a quiet campsite and the owners ensure that’s the case. The layout of the site is in a circle surrounded by trees and the pitches are generous. The facilities are simple and clean with fridge and freezer. There is an honesty shop with emergency supplies and charcoal and wood to enjoy the peace and quiet by the fire while star gazing. The community pub the Racehorse is an absolute must visit. As you can see there’s a lot to like but finally the owners Sally and Richard are so helpful and engaging you’re guaranteed a great stay.

We do have capacity to take toilet waste but can only take environmentally friendly/bio toilet fluid treatment as we have a septic tank system. Please just ask if you need help. We live here and are available and happy to assist!

Em va agradar So peaceful and quiet, all we could hear were the birds. Loved the chickens and the handsome cockerel wandering about. Very clean, lovely owners. Pub walking distance, with a very warm welcome and excellent food. Wish we had booked in for longer.
