Positiv: Basic facilities with loads of amazing activities on the go. We all had a lovely night at Box end Park. The staff were very helpful - as I needed to leave early the next morning. Much appreciated

Positiv: Watching the activities on the lake. Enjoyed a drink at the bar overlooking the lakeside. Level pitches with water and electricity near pitch

Negativ: Shower and toilet block very basic but not a problem as we used our own.

Positiv: Had a lovely stay at Box End with its well kept grounds and peaceful setting. All staff could not have been more helpful, and you have the water sports activities on your doorstep if required. Greta to be looking out over the lakes in the morning sunshine…..

Negativ: Limited toilet/ shower facilities if busy

Positiv: Beautiful setting. Staff were very friendly and helpful from the minute we got there until we left. We asked for a pitch as far away from the water as possible and we were given the perfect spot. Loved watching the water sports from our tent. The toilets were close by and clean and smelled lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely be returning

Positiv: We camped here as it was near a car show we were attending, we have a TentBox. The pitches were a decent size, the toilet block was only a few seconds walk away and central. There is an onsite food van with benches (called a cafe) and restaurant. Staff were very friendly

Negativ: There were only 2 washing up stations to 25+ pitches. The toilet blocks were run down, however it stated on them new ones are coming in a year. The showers are communal, with only one closed shower. So either shower late at night or bring some swimwear!

Positiv: Lovely camping pitches , very spacious , overlooks the lake with all the activities which is great too , we went on the aqua park which the kids enjoyed (albeit very cold 🤣) toilet facilities clean , showers ect great too I will say the staff were exemplary, each time we had to pop to the activities desk , nothing was any trouble , and the guys outside on the activities very attentive when it came to their roles , will definitely come back if we need a place to stay down that way again it was great

Positiv: Beautiful weather! Lovely view over the lake and all the water sport activity. The bistro bar and terrace were great and the staff everywhere were friendly and helpful.

Negativ: The temporary toilet block close to my pitch was shabby. It had a sign to say it was to be refurbished so hopefully in the future ....?

Positiv: Place is amazing well laid out pitches all level and flat We had an issue with other campers not keeping the dogs on a lead and this was actioned quickly and the people were removed from the site

Negativ: Would like a enclosed shower for campers so you can wash in private and help children instead of with all the watersport attendees

Negativ: Toilets....disgusting and not very handicap friendly. Reception and restaurant closed. Didn't notify us.

We really appreciate all your feedback and take this on-board. Please kindly note that our reception team did speak to you over the phone the evening before your arrival and explained that due to our Reception being closed on the Monday they would help arrange your stay as an 'out of hours check-in'. To follow up this phone-call the team then emailed you the same evening confirming all arrival details required for the following day allowing you to self check-in for your stay incl. campsite pitch number, map, facilities information and collecting/connecting your pre-arranged electric card. The following message was also highlighted in the email "Kindly note if you are planning to use our Corner 5 Restaurant & Bar facilities, please do make sure to check their opening hours via our website before your arrival. Our Restaurant & Bar opening hours vary throughout the year, as do our outdoors activities". We also made sure you were allocated the closest pitch to toilet block as per your booking request, to make it as easy as possible for you once pitched up on-site. One of our team members who happened to be on-site at the time of your arrival also helped you collect your electric card whilst passing by reception and also helped refund your £5 deposit back to you when you handed your electric card back to them the following day just as you were about to self check-out.
