Enjoy a rural holiday at and experience a rustic setting of an Alaskan small town. The site is centrally located at the intersection of two major highways, making it a great base to explore numerous locations including Valdez, Fairbanks, and Anchorage. On clear days, it also has beautiful views over three major mountain ranges.

The campsite is family-owned and run by friendly native Alaskan owners. It has free wifi throughout the site, a facilities block with toilets, token-operated showers and a laundry room.

The site organises weekly evenings with free desserts that can be enjoyed whilst socialising with other campers by the campfire.

Local attractions

Enjoy the great outdoors and head to the Copper River for some salmon fishing or some fish wheel viewing.

Hikers and cyclists can spend the day exploring the Wrangell-St. Elias National Pak Reserve and for a bit of adrenaline, join a flightseeing tour of Alaska's scenic highlights including the glaciers.

Other nature wonders include the Horse Tail Falls in Keystone Canyon and the Thompson Pass.

No penalties

Group bookings of 6 or more units (e.g. tent, touring caravan, motorhome or accommodation hire) travelling together are not permitted via Pitchup.com.

If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please give as much notice as possible so that someone else has the chance to book. You may wish to buy holiday insurance for cancellations and for your property/injury whilst away.

Please note that your deposit is paid to Pitchup.com and is non-refundable.

Admission
Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.

Dogs
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.

Entertainment and activities are available between June 15 and August 15.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Hired accommodation
Your unit must be left clean and tidy, a fine of $250 will be charged for unclean units upon departure.

Occupancy

Pitches
You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Safety
Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Visitors
Visitors must leave the premises by 10pm.
