  • Fish and relax with family or friends
  • New water fountains, new landscaping and trails added

Country Place RV Park is tucked away in the Texas pine woods near the small town of Cut and Shoot. It's a handsomely manicured 40-acre park with a spacious camping area among pine and oak trees.

The park is family-owned and operated, in a quiet country setting.

There are three catch and release fishing ponds stocked with bass, catfish and perch. The largest pond has a covered lighted pier so you can fish in the evening.

The camping area has shared patios with picnic tables and barbecues.

The people who I dealt with were very nice and helpful

The tent sites were Sandy and right next to stagnant water the bath house was a quarter mile away from the tent sites I paid for two nights and only stayed for one the fishing is catch and release of which was not stated on the web if I had known that I would not have considered them in the first place not to mention the ants you can expect ants when camping was asked by employees not to use Wi-Fi

From the manager...

I am confused about this customer. He was shown the tent site and was happy at the time. He was camping next to an inlet to the ponds and it has not rained for 7 weeks. What do you expect this is not a lake. The bath house is across the bridge and is no more than 150 yards away. This is an RV Park not a state park. It is safer than a state park with a security gate, fitness room, game room, and nicely landscape. There are pictures posted of the park on the website and a map. He was told it was catch and release when he checked in and that bait was available. This is private property and he is not required a fishing license. I gave him a WIFI password. He was told not to stream movies and play video games because it is a shared network. As a experienced camper I have stayed in many parks that had sandy soil and ants. That is part of camping. Not sure what he expected? We have had boy scouts and many families return repeatedly because of the fishing and amenities.
