Pelican RV Park is located in the north west Florida Panhandle, just east of Pensacola with easy access to the Interstate 10.
The campsite has large camping pitches with full hook-up and easy to pull through. They are level and large enough to accommodate the largest RV including slide-outs. The campsite welcomes pets, there is also a dedicated exercise area for dogs to run around. The park has a convenient lighted wash stand for doing the dishes.
Join the large, inviting pool, swim or just relax and get some sun. The pool is near most camping pitches and is a welcome beginning or end to a day of driving or sightseeing.
The Office building has a spacious recreation room with pool table, TV, large book and movie exchange and tables to enjoy the games and puzzles that are available. It's a pleasant place to come and socialise.

Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children in one booking.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.
Large groups: check the listing page for any group restrictions set out in the terms and section titled ‘Please note’.
Large tents/caravans: check the restrictions on unit dimensions to ensure your unit is suitable for the space you will be provided with.

From Interstate 10, take Exit 26 and continue south. Just off the interstate, you will see Stuckey's and Dairy Queen on your right. The campsite's access road is directly across from their driveway. The campsite is signposted. Follow the access road to the office building.
Just 30 minutes from Pensacola with easy access to Interstate 10, you can enjoy all the attractions of the big city from a rustic setting. Pensacola Beach is just 35 minutes away on the Santa Rosa barrier island. There is a $1 toll to cross to the barrier island, but no charge leaving. This two block wide island has the gulf on one side, with surf and shells. The other side faces Santa Rosa Bay, with calm, shallow water, and a long dock. The Island is lined with restaurants, souvenir shops and attractions.
On the west edge of Pensacola is the Naval Air Station museum. The museum is on a military base where you must show ID to enter. Admission is free and the buildings are huge. There is a complete history of flight inside from WWI to the lunar module. There are videos, displays, and a few rides that do require admission fees. Definitely an all day trip.
The small town of Milton, east of Pelican Park, has a number of very nice restaurants and local shopping. There are a few parks, and boat launches that are free of charge. While we are not on the water, the Black Water River has a boat launch less than six miles from the park.
