  • Riverside site set over 165 acres
  • Herons, egrets, geese and eagles all spottable nearby
  • Pool, playgrounds, fishing and boat/canoe hire

The Playful Goose Campground is on the Rock River and has 165 acres for fun and relaxation.

The campground is also near the Horicon Marsh, where the famed sight of hundreds of thousands of Canada geese can be seen in the spring and the fall. The Rock River is also a great place to see rare herons and egrets, while a new family of eagles is growing up nearby: bring your camera to take a picture of these are they glide through the spectacular landscape.

Site facilities include a volleyball court, playgrounds, rowing boats and canoes for hire. There's also a furnished games room and guests can enjoy shuffleboard, horseshoes and fishing from the pier on the river. A large, well-maintained, indoor heated swimming pool is available for guests to use free of charge.

The site has large toilet blocks; showers are available near the main building. Reception has a small corner shop with LP fill service, RV parts and a soft drinks machine.

Campfires are encouraged; however, guests are kindly required to purchase wood on site so the site owners know what's being burnt.
