Batteries starting to run low after a few months without a break? Let Espacio Finca Alegría come to the rescue. This family- and dog-friendly site a 20-minute drive from the historic port city of Cartagena, in the Murcia region, is a hub of rest and relaxation. It is run by a yoga instructor called Rubén, and unsurprisingly activities like yoga, meditation and energy therapies take centre stage here. There’s no obligation to join in, of course, and if you want to just chill poolside and catch up on your reading, you’re very welcome to do so. Oh, go on… maybe just a massage to ease those aching muscles. Fancy a day at the seaside? (And by the way, if you don’t have your own transport you can rent a car on site – by the hour or by the day.) Playa de Portús is only 15 minutes’ drive away, with its sheltered beach and calm waters where you can snorkel, have a go at paddleboarding or go on a kayaking expedition to places like the Cueva Neptuno sea cave. If you prefer to be on terra firma, there are lots of hiking trails in the nearby Sierra de la Muela, Cabo Tiñoso y Roldán nature area (15 minutes), where you might catch sight of falcons and eagles soaring high, plus wild boars and foxes. The store on site sells locally grown organic fruit and vegetables, plus eggs, cheese, bread and whatever else you might need for your barbecue. (And wine and beer, in case you were starting to worry.) Other amenities include a toilet block with showers, a washing-up area and a launderette.

Liked L'unica cosa piacevole é stata la piscina, sempre accessibile e pulita

Disliked Non so da dove iniziare, partiamo dai bagni con le docce ancora con la tendina, senza mensola all'interno per appoggiare i prodotti, con poco spazio per muoversi, e con l'acqua alta fuori dalle docce.
Pulizia docce abbastanza scadente.
Mosche ovunque, abbiamo aperto il camper per fare circolare l'aria perché eravamo in battuta del sole e ne sono entrate a decine.
I vicino di piazzola rumorosi, hanno tenuta la musica alta tutto il giorno e noi non riuscivamo neppure a parlaci tra noi.
Un altro camperista aveva non so che problema al camper e ha tenuto il motore accesso per ore.
Insomma, c'è si meglio, essendo sperduto nel nulla avrebbe dovuto essere più curato e avrei più servizi.

Liked De ligging en uitzicht een mooi camping complex vriendelijk personeel goed restaurant en winkeltje met de primaire behoeftes
Zwembad goed onderhouden en schoon

Disliked Alle vliegen en wespen doordat de honden overal werden uitgelaten op het camping terreur zou dat verboden moeten zijn !
Er is geen toezicht op lawaaiige camping gasten die tot 0:100/0:200 s’nachts doorgaan
Vooral in een tent hoor je alles
De wc’s mogen vaker worden schoongemaakt want de camping gasten houden geen rekening met anderen wat jammer is na toilet gebruik,snap deze mensen niet hoe smerig sommige zijn dit was een zwaar nadeel

Parque Tentegorra (15 minutes’ drive) is an adventure hub with ziplines and treetop walks, plus an aquapark with water slides (and a pirate ship in the middle of the children’s pool). There’s also a playground with a giant slide and picnic areas complete with barbecue stations. When in Cartagena, check out the Roman amphitheatre, overlooked by the ruins of an old cathedral on one side and the hilltop Castillo de la Concepción on the other. The Civil War Museum has displays on this dramatic period in Spain’s recent history, or you can head to the Naval Museum on the harbour. Built in the mid-1930s in a mock-medieval style, the Batería de Castillitos (45 minutes) perches high above the sea at the tip of the Cabo Tiñoso headland. In addition to the huge guns (fired only once during the Spanish Civil War), there are far-reaching coastal views.
