If you’re going glamping, you might as well pull out all the stops and do it with extra style. Enter Dreamsea Mediterranean, a luxurious site on the Costa Blanca with spacious glamping tents featuring elegant interiors, chic decorative touches and most mod cons.
Having said that, when you’re on the Mediterranean coast of Spain, chances are the time you spend inside your fabulous tent will be limited to your sleeping hours. The rest of the time, you might be hiking to nearby Cala Moraig (15 minutes on foot or a 10-minute drive), a pebbly beach backed by rocky cliffs and lapped by crystal-clear waters. And those waters really are a massive draw, whether you’re into snorkelling (there are underwater caves at Cala Moraig) or paddleboarding. By the way, you can hire any watersports equipment right at the site – how thoughtful.
There is also good news for those who don’t fancy the idea of a 15-minute trek to the nearest beach: the site has an outdoor pool with a decked area for sunloungers and spectacular views of the coastline below. If doing nothing all day has left you feeling a little stiff, yoga classes will soon loosen up any tight muscles.
After completing your vinyasa flow, continue being virtuous with one of the healthy meals available at the on-site restaurant, which relies on local seasonal ingredients to produce colourful Mediterranean dishes. Or balance the yin with a little bit of yang and head to the food truck in the chill-out area, followed by a poolside cocktail, as you watch the sun set over the sea.
