A terrific time is to be had in the Terra Alta region of Tarragona at quiet and cosy Camping Els Ports… with views from the pool over scenic Els Ports Natural Park – one of the most important biodiversity reserves in Spain. The rocky landscape of the surrounds covers an area of Catalonia, Valencia and Aragon totalling a whopping 60,000 hectares of lush forest, sprawling valleys and limestone massifs with steep faces. Wildlife can be seen in the area too, from Ibex goats and wild boars to Griffon vultures and eagles, and trekking and biking trails range from the trickier Els Ports trail to the easier Fou gulley path. In general, there should be no worries about the weather being too hot for hiking, as the region has an Interior Mediterranean climate with sweltering Spanish summers cooled down somewhat by the Ports mountain range trapping sea air from the coast for a bit of a breeze. But if the wind does fail you, the natural pools at Toll Del Vidre are a 10-minute drive away for a dip… As well as swimming and walking, expeditions of a more adventurous nature available at Els Ports include canyoning and 4x4 drives – ask for more details on site at the restaurant-bar while sipping a Spanish cerveza. Eateries (plus a supermarket) are also in the pretty village of Arnes (a 15-minute walk), or you can grill food on site at the barbecue area. For the kids, a play area and a football pitch are to hand as well.

Liked Todo en general sobre todo la limpieza de baños y las instalaciones es muy tranquilo, las chicas de la limpieza magisimas, el bar regular le hace falta un cambio, yo fuy con dos perros recoji todas las cacas y eche agua con jabon en donde mearon, siempre en mi parcela nunca sueltos los perros no deben molestar a los demás, siempre pagan justos por pecadores pero en fin, no somos todos iguales, bueno que nos fuimos felices de los dias que pasamos .

Liked És un lloc molt tranquil. Ben situat si et mous amb cotxe.
Les rutes o passejos que vam fer amb bicicleta van estar bé.
Bastant a prop de la via verda, però hi ha alguna super pujada o baixada per poder-hi accedir.
Si vols fer activitats d'excursions i tolls està molt bé.

El pueblo está a 1km y tiene un pequeñísimo colmado.
Hay que llevar provisiones.
Los camiones pasaban volando por una carretera recta exterior pero visibles desde la piscina. Si uno se desvia puede haber un desastre.
