Anyone up for an adventure holiday with a gastronomic twist? If a scramble up the Pyrenees followed by a gourmet meal is what floats your boat, make a beeline for Camping Organyà Park, less than a kilometre from the town of Organyà (10 minutes’ walk) in Catalonia. The restaurant is one of the highlights of this peaceful site – it serves up dishes that blend modernity and tradition, made with ingredients sourced from local producers and neighbouring farms. For those who'd rather cook their own meals, there’s a barbecue area and plenty of picnic tables around – and those picnic tables have pretty spectacular views of the surrounding peaks. Take a good look at those mountains: you might well be heading out to explore them during your stay here, perhaps on a via ferrata climbing route – the Roca Narieda (five minutes’ drive) is especially popular. Another trail worth exploring is the Camí de Santa Fe (15 minutes), leading up a wooded mountain to the tiny chapel of Santa Fe d’Organyà. After all that, you might want to reward yourself with some downtime: will you head to the outdoor pool (with a paddling area for toddlers) or to the nearby river El Segre for a spot of angling? If your body aches after your climbing efforts, you can book yourself in for a massage. The site also has padel courts, a playground and an area where the family dog can have a run around.

Liked Es el camping perfecto si pretendes ir por ejemplo a Andorra (pues está a 25minutos, antes pagábamos un dineral en un camping en andorra).
La piscina está muy bien, las parcelas muy niveladas, es muy tranquilo debido a lo pequeño que es, las duchas están bastante bien y WC.

Disliked Si vas con tienda de campaña o similar ten en cuenta que a penas hay sombra (para los meses Julio y Agosto) aunque por contra las noches son bastante frescas (7,8,9 agosto unos 20/19 grados).

Liked Big pitches, pool was lovely and well kept.
The local town was lovely and a great place to visit.

Disliked There is no privacy between the pitches. It’s like a big carpark that has been divided up. Because of this it is very noisy at night.
The ground is very hard so difficult to get pegs in it.
Toilet/shower block was often very dirty. Cleaned in the mornings but not maintained during the day.

Recommend to friends Visit again

We wouldn’t go there again. The one star is for the maintenance man.

Liked The maintenance man.

Disliked We were very disappointed with our stay at Organya Park. Our first impression when we pulled up at the gate was that the site was unkempt and unloved. We arrived at 16.00 hrs on Sunday evening; there was no-one at reception. After 30 mins and 3 attempts to contact someone (the intercom at the gate cut off; then two calls to two different numbers) the maintenance man was despatched to check us in. He was helpful and efficient, given it wasn’t his job!
The pitches were overgrown with weeds; the ladies toilet block was untidy and hadn’t been cleaned - it still wasn’t clean when we left at 09.30 the following morning.
Lastly, having looked forward to a ‘gastronomic delight’ at the restaurant, we were told it, and the bar, were closed on Sunday evening.
We have stayed at many other sites that are a lot better presented for 27 euros a night.
Needless to say, we cut short our stay and left after one night.

From the manager: Hola, lamentem qwue la seva estada no hagi estat del seu gust, però la Recepció no està deixada, els Diumenges tarda molt del personal que treballa durant la setmana, fa festa, tenim prioritats com el descans per la conciliació familiar. Els banys els netegem a diari, però quan hi ha massificació sempre pot quedar en algun moment menys arreglat. el Restaurant els diumenges tarda, en temporada baixa tanca, lamentem que no hagi pogut provar la nostra ‘gastronomic delight’. Es un Camping petit, aqui tothom fem de tot i ens ajudem en les tasques diaries, i el nostre company de Manteniment ens ajuda a recepció quan fa falta, la seva feina com la dels altres es dona un bon servei als nostres clients que venen amb una actitut oberta. Gràcies per la seva visita. Salutacions

Disliked Not at all a quiet site with people and children up until 2am with little or no consideration for others! Expensive in comparison to other sites we stopped at on our 9 day trip.

Petrolheads might enjoy a visit to the Museu de la Moto de Bassella (25 minutes’ drive), which displays a collection of motorcycles through the ages, including a 1902 Clement, an Indian Four from the 1930s and modern Italian and Japanese brands.
