Have a try of Camping 3 Estrellas for a Spanish stay, set in a pine forest next to a beach with over 10km of coastal promenade – but only 12km from the ancient sights and more sands of Barcelona (there's excellent bus access into the city too). For days when you're not city sightseeing, Camping 3 Estrellas has laid on all you might need to stay put: swimming pools, a restaurant serving fresh local food, a supermarket with fresh and frozen produce plus souvenirs, and a five-a-side football pitch as well as courts for tennis, basketball and pétanque. (There's a volleyball court on the beach too.) Amenities are also well sorted, with modern loo and shower blocks with free hot water, and a laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers. Camping 3 Estrellas has high-speed wifi in all its facilities areas, and if you want to leave the laptop at home, computers with internet access are in the bar.

Liked Camping correct au niveau des intallations(piscine,sanitaire,douche et emplacement de jeux pour les enfants)

Disliked J’avais loué un emplacement en face de la mer et très honnêtement mieux vaut louer un emplacement standard(moins cher)car on avait certes la mer en face mais un grillage pour première vue et pas d’arbre comme pour les emplacements standards pour donner de l’ombre et donner une sensation de fraîcheur . Dernier point :avions qui décollent ttes les 10 mn depuis l’aéroport qui est tout près

Liked La proximité de la mer, superette assez complète, piscine assez grande pour pas être les uns sur les autres,douches propres, camping en général très bien même avec les avions vu la proximité de l'aéroport de Barcelone

Please note when visiting the nearest villiage/ town, there is a small walking/ cycling path right at the side of the main vehicle carriageway that takes you straight there- less than a mile. On your route app, it takes you on a route exceeding 4 mile!

Disliked Had to cross over a smelly river to get to pool- smelt like sewerage.
Some good pitches and some poor pitches on site.
Noise from planes just about bearable.
Bar beside pool wasn’t open on a Monday night.

Disliked Franse kinderen die tot 3u 's nachts feesten op het strand. De bewaking die 's nachts een camper over het terrein liet rondrijden opzoek naar een pitch.
Koude douches. Geen wifi bereik op de strandpitches

Liked The sea is nice, especially for those who like the sandy beaches. Our pitch was big enough. The supermarket is not expensive.

Disliked The camping is situated very close to the airport. And the planes take off right over the camping. Very loud, very often. You have no silence at all. From the very morning.
The toilets got cleaned close to 11 am, so during the morning you use quite dirty facilities.

Route directions

From Barcelona, follow Ronda de Dalt (B20) in the direction of the airport. Take the C-31 in the direction of Castelldefels, exit at Gavà Mar (on the left along the beach with a viaduct over the C-31). Then take the third right-hand turning and follow the directions back to Barcelona to reach the site.

Camping 3 Estrellas has plenty of sights to see and things to do when not in Barcelona, like a children's farm and riding school offering lessons a kilometre from the site, and 10km of coastal promenade accessible from the beach next to the site: walk, jog or skate along here by day and go in the evening for dinner and drinks against a backdrop of Spanish sunset. Famed centre the Catalan Olympic Canal of Catalonia is just five minutes away, a highly popular spot for Spanish watersports like sailing, kitesurfing, canoeing and kayaking, and for land-based activities like cycling, archery and pitch and putt; many courses are available for all ages. Fancy neither land nor sea? Have a go at paragliding from here instead.
