If you're swanning around Spain, make your way to Camping Entrerrobles. This quiet site has amenities like a swimming pool, play area and football fields. On site, a bar and restaurant are open during high season only (and at different times and days of the week, depending on the time of the year). The restaurant has a glass pergola – for views of the mountains whatever the weather – and a shaded terrace where guests can order traditional homemade meals. The bar, made from old sleeper trails, is also excellent for adults to swap travel tips over an Estrella beer. And despite the site being more than two hours and a half drive to the nearest coastline, a beach volleyball court is set up on site for sporty sessions on the sand. If the grains tickling your toes have you craving sunbathing stints near water, the artificial beaches of Playa Pita, Las Cabañas, Club Náutico and Peña Gamella at the Cuerda del Pozo Reservoir are 25 minutes from the park. History buffs can swing by the submerged village of La Muedra in this large swimming lake or flit around on a free tour of the Roman ruins at the Yacimiento Arqueológico de Numancia (20 minutes away). Not up for tottering too far? Guests can also stay put and soak up the rays at the site’s well-kept gardens or check out nearby nature on foot. Set in Soria’s Rio Razón valley, the oak, beech and pine surrounds are lush in the spring and summer months – and even lusher when they start to change colour come autumn. The supermarket, bakery, tavernas and small shops of Valdeavellano de Tera are less than 20 minutes’ walk away.

Liked: The solitude.
The journey along the N111, great hills etc.
Facilities clean and warm.
The warm welcome
The bar/restaurant.
Able to buy bread and milk.

Disliked: Water tap difficult to use, you need 2 or 3 hands.
Electric connection, never seen one like it, like an ancient bakelite 2pin but it worked. (You still need euro connection)

Liked: Lovely big site plenty of room for everyone. Nice little pool, football fuild, lovely little restaurant / bar, very welcoming considering our total lack of Spanish speaking.

Disliked: Couldn’t get ladies showers to be constant temp, apparently the mens were hot. Polite suggestion, could do with some sun beds or chairs around the pool area. Showers could do with a clean

Liked: Nice big pitches, friendly owners who spoke very good English. Peaceful surroundings with good facilities on site including a lovely pool and bar/restaurant and good WiFi!

Disliked: There were lots of mice/rats in many holes around the site which unfortunately we pitched on!

From the manager: Hi, thank you so much for your review! We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We just wanted to clarify a small point, as the word “rats” can sound a bit alarming! The little creatures you mentioned are actually tiny countryside mice, not rats. They are completely harmless and don't even come near human food or living areas. Since we are located within a Natural Reserve, we are working closely with the authorities to address the situation, as we cannot use chemicals here. It’s a very specific and temporary issue, largely due to the unusually mild winter. We're hopeful that next year it will naturally resolve.

Liked: We stayed here on our way to the ferry, for one nighr, its a bit of a gem so wish we had stayed longer. Friendliness of all the staff. Big pitches easy to get into, lovely pool, clean facilities

Disliked: We took the wrong route in and it was a bit tight on the way in through a little village, found the right road on the way out. Alot of bugs at night (none of which can be controlled by the site)

Local attractions

Also near the site are chances to mountain bike, pick mushrooms or birdwatch, with the paths of the Iberian Soria GR 86 crisscrossing this wildlife-rich region. A golf course is half an hour’s drive from the park if it isn’t a hol without practising some putting, and guests can also try out trotting through the tree-lined lands from a horse riding facility 20 minutes’ away. More history can be seen at the Ermita de San Saturio church (30 minutes' drive), a stunning sight built into the rock of a hillside and known for its 18th-century architecture and detailed frescos. More into lazing? The banks of the Laguna Negra de Urbión lake, a black lagoon surrounded by black craggy glacial rocks and pine forests, take 50 minutes to reach. The Cueva La Galiana Baja caves – a special protection area for birds – are an hour and 10 minutes from the site in the Rio Lobos canyon area.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 2 day(s) of arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
