Now here’s a cool place to stay on the Costa del Sol… Costa del Sol Glamping Village is in a tree-filled park on the edge of Fuengirola and a couple of minutes’ walk from the nearest beach (with sea views from several corners of the site) – it’s a fabulous spot for those who want to dip in and out of the buzz of the main resort while also enjoying some peace and quiet in between. The accommodation at this Andalusia site is equally cool, with the units designed to give you a sense of staying in the open air while also providing plenty of hotel-style comforts including proper beds, good-quality bed linen, towels, power sockets, a mini kitchen and an ensuite bathroom. There’s space to relax both inside and outside, with plenty of furniture provided for both. And you may well need some time to relax, given everything there is to do around here – both on site and in the surrounding area. For those times when you’re not at the beach you can head to the pool area for swimming, water games and sunbathing, hit the indoor or outdoor gyms, or play games of volleyball, basketball and mini football. There’s a playground and kids’ club to keep your little ones busy, and everyone can join in with the activities that run daily in high season. Time for a proper chillout? Perhaps you’d like to book some time in the spa, take in a show at the amphitheatre, pick up a cool drink from the pool bar or settle in a comfy chair by the firepit in the chillout area. The site also has a very good restaurant for those times when you don’t fancy cooking.

Liked Alles op de camping is schoon en netjes. Aardig personeel.

Disliked Lawaai van de snelweg en gedoe met de slagboom van de parkeerplaats. Ging niet open na dat kenteken bij receptie was ingevoerd. Het heeft mij bij vertrek om 5:00 s’morgens €10,- gekost.

Liked Proximité de la plage et d’un petit commerce à la station service , dimensions de l’emplacement, propreté du camping , très belle piscine .

Disliked Manque d’ombrage aux emplacements , sanitaires propres mais petits , horaires de piscine réduits au minimum , il faudrait la stopper pour 20 ou 21 heure au lieu de 17 h .

Liked La parcelle de taille normale. L'eau et l'électricité sur chaque emplacement.

Disliked 2 douches et un double lavabo pour l'ensemble des camping car, c'est vraiment pas terrible !
C'est beaucoup trop cher pour un camping qui se dit de luxe.
La fosse des eaux noires n'est pas pratique et la trappe est plus que vétusté.

Liked Der Stellplatz war absolut in Ordnung. Mein Sohn und seine Tochter schliefen Im Safarizelt das vollständig ausgerüstet war. Aufgrund des schlechten Wetter war es jedoch recht kühl und relativ laut. Die Sanitärgebäude sind sauber und das Wasser heiß. Die Waschmaschine und die Trockner sehr gut und der Preis angemessen.

Disliked Leider wollten wir daß Welnessangebot (Sauna) nicht annehmen, da dies nicht nur maßlos überteuert und zudem die Zeit sehr beschränkt war. Der Pool ist großzügig bemessen und wird auch im Winter scheinbar mitbezahlt ohne diesen auch benutzen zu können.
Mein Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre, sich an einer internationalen Saunakultur zu orientieren. Überlegenswert wäre auch die Sauna im Winter für zwei Stunden gratis anstatt der Poolbenutzung frei zu stellen.
Der Lärm des vorbeifahrenden Autoverkehrs ist kaum wahrnehmbar.

Local attractions

To the beach first? It’s only a couple of minutes’ walk to the nearest one – a spacious stretch of sand with bars and boat rentals available. More watersports, including jetskiing and parasailing, can be booked in central Fuengirola (five minutes’ drive), which also has a great beach with calm sheltered waters and plenty of sandy space. While you’re in Fuengirola, you can also take a walk along the Paseo Maritimo (perhaps stopping at a bar or fairground en route), visit the animals at Bioparc Fuengirola, hit the waterslides at Aquamijas or take the kids to the rides at Sould Park. If you fancy a change of scenery from Fuengirola, you might like to head to the seaside resort of Torremolinos (20 minutes) or to the lovely city of Málaga (half an hour), which is packed with cultural attractions including the Picasso Museum and the Alcazaba.
