Liked The most relaxed, friendly site I have stayed on.
I taught me things about being environmentally friendly.

Disliked Spanish mealtimes are much later than UK, so I didn't partake of the meals.
I did, however, get to sit with the group and enjoy the lively conversation.

Liked It was great, people were lovely, pitch was good and the surroundings are beautiful. Great for walking the dogs. Facilities were also good. We had a nice chilled time.

Liked Fantastische sfeer, super relaxed. Mooi om op deze eco camping te staan waar alles ook volgens eco principes geeuns wordt. Gezellig met alle huisdieren en leden van de tribe.

Local attractions

If you're looking to explore the local area, you can hire bikes on site and get pedalling – scenic spots within the Doñana national park are about 10 kilometres away, so there are ample opportunities to visit the pristine wetlands, flocks of flamingos and coastal lagoons that make this part of the Andalusian coast so special. The nearest beach is at Matalascañas, about half an hour away by car. The resort has lots of sandy spots to choose from as it extends for several kilometres along the coast; sea temperatures generally peak at a very comfortable 21-24°C in the summer months. For those who fancy roaming further afield, the site is about an hour's drive from the Portuguese border, introducing the tempting possibility of day trips to the beaches of the Algarve. Also just down at the coast is Huelva (half an hour's drive), where you can visit Cathedral of La Merced and Museum of Huelva or just take a stroll through the pretty streets. This was the place where Christopher Columbus launched his voyage to the New World, and if you take a little trip out of the city (40 minutes from the campsite) you can see replica ships at Muelle de las Carabelas and wander through La Rábida Monastery, where the explorer stayed while planning his travels.
