For a relaxed, eco-friendly and alternative camping experience near Andalusia's Costa de la Luz, make tracks for Global Tribe Campsite, a peaceful nature retreat 10 kilometres from the edge of Doñana national park. Whether you're just looking for somewhere a little bit different to spend some time chilling out or are after yoga classes, dance lessons and some tasty vegetarian meals, this friendly spot has a wide range of accommodation options to help make your trip a success. All guests staying here have access to a shared toilet block and well-maintained showers. There isn't a campers' kitchen, but breakfast, lunch and dinner are available from the on-site kitchen at affordable prices – and it’s all made from 100% organic ingredients. Many of the vegetables are grown right here on the on-site farm, which uses biodynamic methods and is certified organic. There are plenty of relaxation areas around at Global Tribe Campsite, with various sofas, hammocks, dining tables and chill-out zones. There are also leisure facilities including a volleyball court, as well as several great places to just sit back and watch the sunset. The nearest town, Almonte, is five kilometres from base and has a range of bars, places to eat and other facilities, including food shops.

Liked It’s a magical place, extremely welcoming and you can really reconnect with nature there. The staff was super friendly! The showers/ toilets were super clean and the homemade breakfast was delicious! Shoutout to Jo for his delicious bread.

Liked Beautiful little oasis in the “middle of nowhere”. It was really quiet when we came in June, but the people there were lovely. Highly recommend joining the dinner for a small price to enjoy the community feeling.

Disliked Bring citronella (or another bio product) to repel the small flies that are on the camping!

Liked Super atentos a ayudar en lo que necesites. Un lugar maravilloso y único donde conectas con la naturaleza a un nivel que en pocos sitios. Las instalaciones son lo suficientemente buenas para estar agusto.
Sin duda, no apto para todo público y eso es lo que lo hace más encantador.

El horario de las comidas no se adapta al de España y en el caso de la semana que estuve, comimos macarrones día y noche todos los días., de diferentes maneras, pero macarrones con las mismas verduras
La entradas es algo costosa aunque se llega con caravana más o menos bien.

Liked Everything, really. We only stayed one night because we had a pretty tight schedule, but we really enjoyed it. A really nice and open atmosphere. I would love to come back and stay longer.

If you're looking to explore the local area, you can hire bikes on site and get pedalling – scenic spots within the Doñana national park are about 10 kilometres away, so there are ample opportunities to visit the pristine wetlands, flocks of flamingos and coastal lagoons that make this part of the Andalusian coast so special. The nearest beach is at Matalascañas, about half an hour away by car. The resort has lots of sandy spots to choose from as it extends for several kilometres along the coast; sea temperatures generally peak at a very comfortable 21-24°C in the summer months. For those who fancy roaming further afield, the site is about an hour's drive from the Portuguese border, introducing the tempting possibility of day trips to the beaches of the Algarve. Also just down at the coast is Huelva (half an hour's drive), where you can visit Cathedral of La Merced and Museum of Huelva or just take a stroll through the pretty streets. This was the place where Christopher Columbus launched his voyage to the New World, and if you take a little trip out of the city (40 minutes from the campsite) you can see replica ships at Muelle de las Carabelas and wander through La Rábida Monastery, where the explorer stayed while planning his travels.
