A friendly environment, scenic setting and mini farm for the kids are what's on offer at comfy and modern Camping Carlos III in Andalusia, under 30 kilometres from Córdoba and an hour's drive from Seville. It's a kilometre from the town of La Carlota, named after Carlos III (the king, not the site…) and a handy place for shops and restaurants. There are lots of cute creatures to meet at the mini farm, and kids' activities run throughout high season. Also around to keep all out of mischief are a miniature golf course, tennis, pétanque and padel courts, a large fenced playground and a pool and paddling pool (both open from June to September) with a spacious terrace alongside. The bar-restaurant has a café, a lounge and two terraces, one of which overlooks the pool. It serves local food and barbecued meats from a la carte and menus of the day. A mini supermarket is also on site.

Madera 2 bedroom cottage / chalet / bungalow (four person)

Liked The chalet was clean and functional for a short break.
Its main attraction was its location and proximity to Cordoba, just a 30-minute drive into the city brimming with sights to see.
We used the site to break up a long journey across Spain and it works as a functional stop over. Wouldn’t want to stay for more than a couple of days.
Although staying in a chalet, we checked out the pitches & facilities just in case we want to return and stay in the campervan. The pitches were gravel could be hard to hammer pegs but they offered shade and looked level with water points. The toilet/shower block looked basic from outside but were surprisingly nice inside and cool in 40 degree heat!

The spacious pool area offered shade and the water was refreshingly cool. We enjoyed a meal at the on-site café, where the food was delicious and the prices reasonable.

With another day, we could have visited Seville, an hour away, but unfortunately, time was short.

Disliked The chalet was quite basic and lacked a kettle and more utensils. We ended up using a lot of our own camping gear.

Liked El bungalow es precioso y se está muy bien. Tiene de todo y por las noches en el porche se está súper bien.

Disliked No me gustó que el super no tiene a penas de nada y super caro, no tiene puesto los precios y se los inventa. El restaurante también es muy caro.

Liked This site was so good I stayed an extra night ...they have a great pool and on site bar and a little shop ..the facilities are really clean and the showers are great ..well.worth the money for this site ..I may even head back before I start my trip back to the UK .

Liked Big pitches and a good location for visiting Cordoba. The pool is large and surrounding grass/bar area is clean and has plenty of shade. The site is kept very clean by the hardworking staff. Showers very good with plenty of room.

- Freundlicher Empfang
- Wir hatten eine freie Platzwahl, vermutlich wegen Vorsaison
- Pool war gegen Erwartung (Hinweis Website) doch geöffnet- bei den Temperaturen sehr erfrischend
- gepflegte und sauber Anlage & Sanitäreinrichtung - nur etwas in die Jahre gekommen
