With a bowling green, regular special nights in the bar-restaurant and a pool for paddles and late afternoon cocktails, there’s a community feel at Camping Los Gallardos in the Almeria province. With all those opportunities for relaxation on site, you’ll be set up nicely for adventure elsewhere, whether it’s kayaking and snorkelling around the coast, hiking or taking in the traditional way of life in the mountain villages of Mojácar (15 minutes’ drive), Bédar (15 minutes) or Lubrín (half an hour). Comfortable and modern are some of the words that might come to mind at this site. The place is divided up into a series of terraces with plenty of trees, shrubs and hedges, which make it feel nice and private. In the toilet and shower block, you’ll have hot water to look forward to after visits to beaches such as Playa de Mojácar (15 minutes’ drive). If it’s a small meal or snack that’s on your mind first, the on-site shop is open daily and sells necessities like fresh bread, eggs, milk, fresh fruit or veg and UK newspapers. With the site’s bar-restaurant (named Miraflores) for regular special nights and tasty meals across several menus, you won’t go hungry. Wifi is available in the restaurant, and there are further connections across the site. Other facilities on site include a laundry facility, washing-up sinks and a chemical point for toilets. If you’d like to try your hand at bowling, the site is also connected to a bowling green, where short-term memberships with access to bowling events are available for guests. On Tuesdays, the site (in conjunction with the town hall) also runs a free shuttle bus to the weekly market in Los Gallardos – so potter around in your free time. Golf courses are 10 to 15 minutes’ drive out for more peaceful activities.

  • No charcoal barbecues allowed.
  • Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Embiance conviviale et familiale.
Supérette ouvert à tous bien achalandé et prix plus que correct.
Amperage électrique suffisant même avec plancha.
Bar restaurant accueillant mais tipper nord de l'Europe et oui beaucoup anglo-saxons et allemand mais au demeurant Sympathique quand vous parlez le brexitois (c'est pas mon cas)

Liked Very spacious pitches. Friendly staff. Lots of walks and pleasant walk to nearest village with good pub and tapas. Supermarket on site and very competitively priced

Disliked Could sometimes hear noise from main road late at night but not a major problem. Showers could do with upgrading. Runs cold if more than one in use at same time and water flow not the best

Liked Gepflegter Camping mit Stellplätzen für Wohnmobile und Wohnwägen in der mittleren Preisklasse. Am Platz Restaurant (Nachmittags mit Livemusik) und gut abgedeckten Lebensmittel Geschäft. Kleiner Pool und Sportplatz auch vorhanden. Obwohl na an der Autobahn, sehr ruhig. Los Garalldos,4 km, sehenswert. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Empfang mit deutschsprachigen Bedienung. Sehr freundlich.

Disliked Das Saniterhaus sauber jedoch bald renovierungsbedürftig. Die Gegend nicht besonders interessant. Für diejenigen, die gerne Fahrrad fahren, auf Grund der steinigen Fahrradwege weniger geeignet. Ziellose Wanderungen möglich.

Liked Loved the hardstanding pitches by the bowling green, very flat plenty of room. Played bowls a few times. Was only going for three nights overall we stayed three weeks. The bar area very good with something happening everyday, from having turns on and Wednesday night games night. Very reasonable prices for drinks and meals. The supermarket is well stocked and open on Sundays.

Disliked The showers hit and miss. The cleaning times vary from 09:00am or 09:30ish. Could do with updating.

Find your way to peaceful beaches and wild coastal landscapes in the Cabo de Gata Natural Park… with especially scenic stretches of sand at Playa de Mónsul (an hour's drive) Playa de los Genoveses (an hour) and Los Muertos beach (40 minutes), you’ll be free to snorkel, swim, sail, hike or fish as you please. If you’d rather switch the beach for hiking and wild swimming, head to Nacimiento del Rio Aguas (20 minutes). There are many spectacular places to hike around this area, that’s for sure. You could challenge yourself to steeper climbs along Cerro de La Mezquita (40 minutes), explore the area around the Iglesia de Teresa (20 minutes) church or get ready for views of the hills, mountainside roads and the sea from Mirador De La Granatilla (35 minutes).
