Torn between town and country? No need to worry about such dilemmas at peaceful Camping and Camper Stop near Ljubljana. This campsite is tucked among gardens and fields with spectacular forest and mountain views, yet is only 15 minutes’ drive from the centre of Ljubljana. Set on a working farm, the spacious pitches are available on two parking levels and site amenities include optional electric hook-ups, drinking-water taps, modern showers with reliably hot water, washing-up sinks and a self-service laundry. Barbecues are permitted at the pitches, but there’s an informal eatery with a covered terrace overlooking forested peaks if you’re not feeling the alfresco cooking vibe. There’s also a restaurant offering traditional Slovenian dishes like schnitzel and gnocchi within striking distance (five minutes’ drive away in Dolsko), and of course, you could always have a big night out in cool Ljubljana bars. You can book on-site yoga sessions during high season, when bike rental is available too – the welcoming site owners will be pleased to advise you on where to go and what to see.

Liked: the view was great and the veranda nicely decorated. beautiful location, we went to Ljubljana by taxi, it was perfect.

Disliked: the showers they are too small to dress and undress yourself. if you stand outside everyone can see you (ladies and gentlemen), so no privacy.

Liked: This is a beautiful spot in the hills of a small village and shared allotment space. Amazing shared balcony area for relaxing and eating. Good bad weather pitches. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good bus links into Ljubljana

Disliked: Asi nový kemp, po cestě chyběly ukazatele, takže po tmě jsme nejdříve jeli jinam, vysoká tráva, což bylo ráno po rose nepříjemné, sprchy špinavé

please note that check-in hours are normally until 21:00. After this hour it is dark outside, and some people will soon be sleeping. We have quiet time from 22:00, so your late arrival and search for a parking place might disturb others. Even though the reception works longer, visitors are normally supposed to arrive within check-in hours (during daytime).

Disliked: Not enough facilities for amount of people staying on the campsite, I was 4th in queue for the shower.
Lots of people turning up late, which was noisy.

Liked: Camping w cichym, spokojnym miejscu z dużymi parcelami na rozbicie się. Wszystkie niezbędne udogodnienia dostępne, a ponadto bardzo pomocna i miła obsługa, dostęp do świeżych warzyw i owoców z lokalnego gospodarstwa za co łaska, fajna część wspólna.

Disliked: Do sanitariatów i pozostałej infrastruktury trzeba się wspiąć po schodach lub zboczu. Dla nas to nie było uciążliwe, ale na szczęście nie padało. W razie złej pogody może to stanowić utrudnienie.
