This site is so well set up for family seaside hols in Slovenia that it even has outdoor showers for pets (as most dog owners can testify, that sand does get under that fur...). Your beachy base is well placed for sandy and other activities too, with watersports available from the site, basketball, handball, volleyball, tennis and miniature golf close by, and a sandy playground with sandpit, swings and a slide on hand to occupy the kids. Around the region, there are spas to submerge in around local town Portorož (one of the biggest seaside resorts in Slovenia), and Adriatic Sea beaches and Gulf of Trieste sightseeing all around. Salt pan and wine cellar tours can be added to the itinerary too, or you could take boat trips around the coast or have urban days in Ljubljana, Bled, Venice, Trieste... Or you could simply stay put and do very little indeed apart from beach basking and occasional sandcastle building: Camping Lucija is right by the sea on the Seča peninsula, covering six hectares of serene space for seaside days. If you're opting for this, opt also for some time in the site bar to work your enthusiastic way through the menu from a shaded terrace by the water, before procuring fresh bread, pastries, fruit, veg and other foodie bits in the site shop to have on a seaside picnic. Barbecues are allowed, but if your 'doing very little indeed' on holiday means no cooking at all, restaurants of all sorts as well as small countryside inns are three to seven kilometres away in and around Portorož and Piran.

Disliked Sanitäranlagen alt, schmutzig, viel Schimmel - selten so schlechte Sanitäranlagen gehabt

Leute rasen mit ihren E-Rollern über die Wege, was mit Kleinkindern sehr gefährlich ist.

Liked Blisko plaża, bardzo miła, bezproblemowa obsługa, sklepik na terenie kempingu, możliwość wybrania sobie miejsca pod własne preferencje.

Disliked Największym minusem jest hałas dobiegający z jednej strony z miasta a z drugiej strony z ulicy ponieważ kemping położony jest pomiędzy dwoma uliczkami które między 7 rano a 23 są dosyć ruchliwe. Muzyka z miasta bardzo głośno gra do 3 w nocy :((
Większość miejsc na namioty położona jest na górce więc żeby dojść do swojego namiotu trzeba się było trochę wspiąć (nie wszędzie są schody) i przechodzić pomiędzy innymi namiotami. Namioty bardzo blisko siebie więc mało prywatności.
Sanitariaty dosyć przestarzałe

Liked Hurtig og nem check-in. Imødekommende og venligt personale. God adgang til stranden.

Disliked For mange mennesker på pladsen. For meget larm. Toilet og bad faciliteter trænger til opdatering. Meget gennemgående trafik. Dårligt placeret teltpladser - Vi kunne ikke få strøm selvom vi havde booket det på forhånd, og endte med at forlade pladsen, grundet manglende plads, trods forud bookning.

Liked Sehr gute Infrastruktur. Toller Radweg direkt vom Campingplatz bis Kroatien. Top Lokal direkt am Campingplatz das den ganzen Tag geöffnet hat. Das Ambiente am Lokal ist toll und die Speisen sind vom Frühstück bis zum Abendessen sehr köstlich und die Cocktails sind hervorragend. Der nächste große Supermarkt ist nur ca. 300 m vom Campingplatz entfernt.

Disliked Sanitäranlagen und Geschirrspülplätze sind total veraltet. Man kommt nur mit einem Chip beim Drehkreuz rein. Wenn dann auf beiden Seiten des Drehkreuzes mehrere Leute warten, könnte es langwierig werden. Für den Eintritt benötigt man einen Chip, den man in der Dusche nur schwer ablegen kann, da die Duschen sehr klein sind und kaum Ablageflächen vorhanden sind. Vor allem ist die Hygiene bei diesem Chip fragwürdig, da dieser aufs WC auch mitgenommen werden muss. Wenn man am Strand sich aufhält und auf die Toilette muss, sollte man den Chip holen, um auf die Toilette zu kommen. Die Sanitäranlagen sind für mich in einem katastrophalen zustand, da hilft für mich putzen auch nichts mehr.
Teilweise sind Gebäude schon sehr beschädigt und sehen verkommen aus.

Liked Fabulous location, friendly staff and lovely walks to be had.
Site does quieten down mostly after 10 and security are good.
Supermarkets and amenities all very nearby.

Disliked Showers and toilets need a refurbishment which is happening either next year or the year after.
They should also tell you that a lot of the pitches are on a main thoroughfare so there’s loads of traffic, bikes, scooters going past all the time.

Liked Plek was ruim. De zee was dichtbij. Prima receptie.

Disliked Het toilet gebouw was enorm smerig! De wc’s waren niet schoon en in de douche zaten alle putjes vol met haren waardoor het water niet weg stroomde. Ook veel schimmel in de douches.
Het was erg lawaaiig op de camping en het was erg rommelig. Verkeer raast als een gek voorbij, levensgevaarlijk met kleine kinderen.

Local attractions

Start your Slovenian seaside sightseeing off in Portorož, three kilometres away: this swish resort is one of the best known in Slovenia and one of the major tourist centres in the country. The wide sandy beach should be a first stop; after that, there are thermal baths to check out, a casino to feel lucky in, and a marina to while away lazy hours at. Portorož – rather fably – is also home to a Rolling Stones museum, displaying the rocky memorabilia of Slavko Franca, such a mega fan that one of his cats is named Paint it Black… Ask at the Camping Lucija reception for details of many splendid excursions available around the region, such as the salt pans around Lucija and Sečovlje, the wine tasting of Koper (20 minutes), the cave at Postojna (55 minutes) and Piran and other Slovenian coastal towns starting from 20 minutes away. For day tripping, Trieste is 35 minutes' drive away, Ljubljana an hour and a half, Bled an hour and 55 minutes, and Venice two hours and 15 minutes.
