It's free, quick and easy!
- Small family-owned site just outside Mojstrana with stunning views
- On the edge of the Triglav National Park, 20 minutes' drive from Bled
- Tennis court, play area, bar and bike hire on site
You’ll definitely want to have walking shoes with you when you come along to Camping Kamne – this small-scale Gorenjska site is just on the edge of the Triglav National Park, with lots of lovely routes to follow nearby (including family-friendly trails and more challenging outings for experienced mountaineers).
The scenery around here is that of the Julian Alps, and it’s a fine idea to get out and spend as much time as you can taking it all in: go at your own strolling pace or sign up for guided expeditions and activities like climbing with the outdoor activity centres in the village. If you’re on bikes, the folk here recommend a ride on the family-friendly Kranjska Gora-Jesenice cycle path (and they can hire you wheels if you’ve not brought your own).
Still up for more stunning views? Stick around on site – this peaceful spot is just by the Minca river and has gorgeous mountain vistas from its pitches. When you’re ready to take a break, there are restaurants, bars and shops in Mojstrana village centre, about two kilometres away.
The team here say that their offering aims to be ‘simple and practical, without unnecessary luxury’. What that means in practice is a peaceful site that focuses on preserving its natural setting but still provides a good stack of facilities: guests will have access to a play area, tennis court, a bar and free wifi along with well-kept bathroom facilities.
Barbecues are permitted on site if you’d like to cook for yourself; if not there are plenty of places serving up tasty plates of local food in the village.
