Liked: An absolutely brilliant site! Situated near to the beach on the coastline popular with surfers and within striking distance of Lisbon. The facilities were really good. Washing rooms were clean and well maintained and offered disabled rooms. Good sized pool and sitting area was near the on-site shop which was well stocked and offered fresh bread in the morning. Reception staff were really helpful with both site and local information, including the bus from the site to the local town of Caiscas where a train service runs to Lisbon. After a four week tour of Spain and Portugal this site was my favourite.

Liked: Me gustó la limpieza de los baños , la atención del personal , la tranquilidad del lugar .

Disliked: No me gustó que no avisen que no tienes en el bungalow ropa de cama o de ducha , que no expliquen que hay un depósito en efectivo ( que no cobraron porque le enseñe las condiciones y no lo ponen) que el papel del baño en vez de estar en los urinarios está fuera en medio que hacíamos cola para cogerlo .

Parque Orbitur Guincho's setting near Cascais, Estoril and Sintra is a smashing part of Portugal, nicknamed the Portuguese Riviera for its long lengths of beaches, sunny skies and clear blue waters. Well known for its surfing and windsurfing, local beach Guincho is a regular host for watersports events including the Portuguese National Surfing and Bodyboarding Championships. Among the many other options nearby are trips around the small villages of the region like Areia, Charneca, Figueira do Guincho and Biscaia; exploring Cabo de Roca and the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, and hiking and wildlife watching among the Sintra mountain range, running for just over 16 kilometres from Sintra to Cabo da Roca. And then there's first-rate Lisbon, one of the oldest cities in the world and the oldest in western Europe. Several days here are recommended if you can manage it, for world-famed attractions like the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Belém Tower and Jerónimos Monastery, the downtown district of Pombaline Baixa, the Moorish Castle of São Jorge, and a few dozen museums including the National Museum of Ancient Art and the Roman Theatre Museum.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Unsupervised minors must have a letter of authorisation from their parents or legal guardian.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Modifications are subject to a €10.00 (£8.49) fee.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs are not allowed if you are staying in the accommodation units.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Entertainment and activities are available between 01/07 and 01/09.
Quiet hours must be respected between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m..
The bar is open between 01/01 and 31/12.
The grocery shop is open between 01/01 and 31/12.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The restaurant is open between 01/01 and 02/01.

Hired accommodation

Hired accommodation: €100.00 (£84.89) damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found.

Pitches

Units should not be left unoccupied unless previously agreed with the management. Please speak to reception when the need arises, a fee may be charged for unsupervised units.
You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Pool

Swimsuits are obligatory and swimming shorts or Bermuda shorts are not permitted.
The outdoor swimming pool is open between 23/03 and 13/10 (subject to weather conditions).

Reception

Reception is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. between 16/06 and 13/09.
Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. between 14/09 and 15/06.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Open fires are prohibited.

Taxes

This area is not subject to city tax.
