No matter what your holiday style – exploring every inch of the Algarve coast or switching off under the southern Portuguese sun – HolaCamp Albufeira has got you covered. Set in peaceful grounds 10 minutes’ drive from Albufeira’s sandy beaches, the site has large, flat pitches partially shaded by pine trees; just the spot for a laidback getaway for you all (and any pets of course). Each pitch has an electric hook-up, water supply, waste-disposal point and access to spotless modern bathrooms as well as a launderette. Once you’re settled in among the greenery, you can explore all the amenities: namely a playground, a swimming pool with views over the surrounding countryside, a padel tennis court and a multisports area. Organised activities and evening shows are laid on in high season too. For eats and drinks, the site has a restaurant with a terrace overlooking the pool, and a beach bar for relaxed drinks; there's also a supermarket for stocking up on essentials like wine or sun lotion. Staying on site, you can look forward to lazy afternoons in the shade, perhaps drifting to the pool for a refreshing dip before meandering over to the restaurant for an evening on the terrace. If you’d rather be out all day discovering new beaches and gorgeous Algarve seaside towns, you have lots to see within half an hour’s drive.

Liked My Wife and I are actually still enjoying our stay. It was so nice we extended for the whole week. This site has everything for the adventurous and those that just want to chill out. The maintenance team have been busy keeping the site very clean and free from rubbish left by a few longer term folks that left over weekend.
The restaurants and Bar have been very good and even welcomed our small dog into the bar area.
We have been very pleased we choose this site and I highly recommend anyone giving it a try.

Disliked I cannot say there was anything we didn’t like.

Liked Location, size of the site, facility's are really good, toilet block was very clean, friendly staff, pool area was clean.

Disliked Pool was freezing

Pitches are not allocated (something needs to be done about this) this is the only thing which we think lets the site down!

Liked Site location was amazing with the cycle track to the town. Also have to give credit to the cleaning staff at our toilet block as they were the cleanest we have seen on our travels. Would definitely recommend to friends and will definitely be back.

A few minutes’ drive from HolaCamp Albufeira are some of the Algarve’s most stunning sandy beaches, including Praia da Coelha (15 minutes’ drive), São Rafael (10 minutes) and Arrifes (also 10 minutes, with extraordinary rock formations just offshore). Thanks to gentle currents and waves, the coastline is safe for family swimming or snorkelling, paddleboarding and kayaking, or you can just chill in the sun. Popular family days out include boat cruises from Albufeira Marina (10 minutes) to look out for dolphins and whales in the deep Mediterranean waters offshore; trips also leave from there to the extraordinary Benagil Cave, a cathedral-like sea cave formed of multi-coloured layers of rock with a vast hole in its roof. Local hiking and cycling routes wind through pine forests and traditional villages like Silves (20 minutes), overlooked by its huge castle. If you’re looking for action-packed things to do with the kids, a day on the waterslides at Zoomarine Algarve (10 minutes) will wear them out nicely.
