Liked: Préposée à l accueil maîtrisant le français et plutôt sympathique Une ville dotée d’un patrimoine à découvrir absolument Partout dans la ville des gens accueillants et bienveillants ( ça change) Une ambiance de fête bon enfant Grande piscine bien entretenue

Disliked: Aucune information sur la fête pourtant historique a Evora Pas de service de bus ( pas la faute du camping) mais du coup la ville a 2 kms Des sanitaires mal utilisés et des campeurs irrespectueux du coup ça donne une première impression mauvaise ( sans doute le week-end) Le papier essuie mains pas adapté ( demi format du coup ça donne des papiers partout) choisir des mûriers à fruits comme arbre d ombrage Coupure d’électricité dans la nuit ( mais est-ce de la faute du camping ?) À contrario de la ville il règne une ambiance peu chaleureuse

Liked: Friendly staff especially staff in snack bar. Good location for visiting Evora, we walked from site with our dog into Evora 25 mins, along straight road with footpaths, as dogs not allowed on buses. Got a taxi back to site 5 euros. Clean shower and toilet block, excellent pool, reasonably priced snack bar. Recommend.

Disliked: No pitch allocated on arrival, our motorhome is 7.5 meters long and after 3 attempts on pitches, it just fit onto a pitch opposite pool area. Longer pitches were taken by tents which was annoying.

Liked: Friendly staff. Short 2km walk to historic town. Great restaurant 1.2km from site serving authentic Portuguese food.

Disliked: On arrival, was informed booked pitch with electricity not available as a large group had taken over much of the campsite, and was advised I could pitch the tent in a general area reserved for tents. After confirming electricity was available, we inspected general tent area and discovered NO electricity available. Inspecting the rest of the campsite, we found a couple of pitches that had been taped off. Returning to reception, we were initially told the taped off pitches had been reserved, but after explaining, we had reserved a pitch with electricity, we were allowed to have our choice of the 2 available pitches. Unfortunately, through no fault of the campsite, the noise from the town's dogs was awful and we had a poor night sleep. After this we moved to a pitch at the back of the campsite. This was a good decision, the noise from the town's dogs was greatly reduced and only had 1 guard dog in a nearby field barking occasionally during the night. Lack of decent restaurant on site.

Liked: General location. Pool.

Disliked: Although we booked for 3 days a month before, we were lucky to squeeze into a corner plot. Site busy. Rough pave on walk to town, worse when you got there. Never saw the bus (41) cafe had a problem & closed.
