Liked Facilities were new and spotless. Good, water, electricity and wifi. The reception staff were very efficient. Good pricing too. A really great site for accessing Venice.

Disliked It wasn’t clear that you needed to rebook the shuttle bus to Venice. Some simple advice about that, how to book tickets for the water buses etc. in Venice would help novices on their first trip to Venice

Liked We have been touring for the last 5 weeks, this is by far the best site we have stayed on. We even extended our 3 day stop to 6. Staff were super friendly and helpful, lSite is very clean and well staffed, which is cleaned and maintained throughout the whole day non stop. The facility’s were excellent red hot showers and plenty of them. Lots of activities on site( which we did not use) but could see them all. Bar and restaurant was great, A shuttle bus provided every hour to take you in to Venice and back up to 23.30pm. This allowed us to go several times to visit all the little islands by taxi boat off Venice itself.
Highly recommended and will definitely go back if we have come this way again in the future

Liked Es ist einfach mal ein fantastischer Campingplatz! Personal unwahrscheinlich nett auch einen großen Swimmingpool gibt es und natürlich auch ein Shop der alles hat . Und das Beste, sie bieten einen Shuttle an nach Venedig zum Bahnhof. Und das alles für 2,50 €

Route directions

By train From the Venezia Mestre railway station take the bus line 15 for Marghera Panorama. After approximately 10 minutes get off at the second stop in Via Beccaria. Walk for 50 metres as far as the Pizzeria restaurant on the right, then turn right into Via della Fonte. Walk to the end, pass the sports centre and take the promenade on the left. Take the underpass and walk two minutes up to the site.

Local attractions

A 20-minute shuttle trip will take you to Venezia Tronchetto, where there are onward connections to the centre of Venice and Piazza San Marco in about 30 minutes. If you want to hail a vaporetto (water bus), pick up a ticket at the Hellovenezia office near the Calatrava Bridge to catch vaporetti all over Venice. It's cheaper to get a tourist travel card than to journey on a pay as you go basis if you're in town for longer than a day, especially if you're venturing further to the Venice Lagoon islands such as Burano or the glassmaking centre of Murano; visit these as the sun sets for spectacular vistas over the water. Leather, glassware and jewellery stalls and shops are abundant on the Rialto Bridge and the streets lining it to and from Piazza San Marco. You'll also easily be able to sort a gondola ride from here; just ask one of the gondoliers what their price is – and be sure to establish what that includes, as some of the cheaper rides don't take in all the main sights.
