What a setting... Helloocamp at Camping Free Beach is on the spectacular Etruscan Riviera, a part of Tuscany famed for its clear waters and award-winning white sandy beaches. The beach a few minutes' walk from the site is Marina di Bibbona, accessible via several small paths leading to the sands through a tropical pine forest. A small electric locomotive is available to take guests back and forth to the beach free of charge. The site is designed to blend in with its surroundings: the Tombolo di Cecina Nature Reserve which runs for a 16-kilometre green belt along the coast among stunning scenery and wildlife landscapes. Helloocamp staff can help you decide on which of the handsome towns and villages nearby to explore; they also arrange daily sightseeing trips to Firenze, Siena, Voltera, San Gimignano, Pisa, Lucca, Cinque Terre, Elba Island... The many facilities include a pool and paddling pool surrounded by greenery, a solarium with sun loungers and parasols, a playground, and a sauna and fitness centre with free entry for guests. A regular programme of activities including a kids' club, water aerobics and music nights runs in high season. The a la carte restaurant serves Italian and international cuisine; guests can also have a snack at the bar. A grocery shop is also on site.

Local attractions

Helloocamp staff organises daily sightseeing trips all around Tuscany, with licensed tour guides showing the best of the region from small medieval hilltop towns and villages to world-famed sights like the Leaning Tower of Pisa and Florence. Wine and olive oil tasting at nearby vineyards are also included. A 20-minute drive north will take you to Acqua Village Cecina, a Hawaii-themed waterpark with slides and wave pools. From here, it's 45 minutes further north to the handsome port city and tasty seafood of Livorno. Bike hire is available if you want to pedal along the coast and through the nature reserve.
