Looking for something unusual to do on your Italian sojourn? Perhaps it’s time to add birding to your list of holiday hobbies? Stay at Parking Zoe, in Gargano National Park in Puglia and 300 metres away from Porticello beach, and you can do just that – it’s surrounded by Mediterranean macchia shrubs and small trees, just the environment where you’re likely to encounter grebes, teals, flamingoes and swifts among many others. But never fear, if one of your party just isn’t that interested in our feathered friends, this campervan park overlooks one of the loveliest bays in the Gargano: the crescent-shaped Porticello beach (a few minutes’ walk away) is a popular hub of kite- and wind-surfing adventures, and its sandy stretches are backed by lively cafés and restaurants. The dog-friendly campervan park itself extends over an acre, offering guests a good amount of privacy on spacious grass pitches partially shaded by olive trees. Each pitch is equipped with an electric hook-up. The facilities block has toilets, bathrooms and showers with hot water available 24 hours per day, as well as sinks for cleaning linen and dishes. There is also a small playground for kids who need to let off steam. Guests can connect to the wifi and, subject to availability, use the site's bicycles for free. As far as shopping goes, there are pizzerias, restaurants, shops, a butcher's shop and Vieste bus stops within walking distance of the site. A minimarket is a 10-minute walk away from the site.

Liked Rapidité de réponse. Accueil. ⁸Emplacement libre et mais pas d’autres services. mini bar existant et un petit flacon d'huile d'olive de 10 ml offert à l'arrivée.

Disliked Aucune hygiène au niveau des sanitaires. Eau chaude très difficile à recevoir (il faut attendre 5 mn pour qu’elle arrive et elle se coupe sans raison). WC et lavabo très sales.Sans parler de l’état de la robinetterie. Nous n’ osions pas la toucher. Les prises étaient remplies de moisissures, que cela soit le soir à 22h, comme le matin à 8h, alors que le gérant était tranquillement assis dans son accueil.

On a fuit, tout simplement sans tenir compte que nous avions payé 2 nuits (à 35 euros la nuit car vu la chaleur, nous avions besoin d'hygiène).

Il me semble que le minima serait au moins un peu de propreté.

Nous avons trouvé cela dans un camping pas loin pour le même prix.

Quand on pense que ce.camping était noté 8.9 /10. C’est incroyable.

Liked Abbiamo soggiornato 10 giorni e ci siamo trovati veramente molto bene, ampissime piazzole, siamo stati accolti al nostro arrivo dal proprietario in modo molto accogliente e per tutto il soggiorno è stato molto premuroso nel risolvere alcune nostre problematiche, ottima pulizia dei bagni e per essere un’aria sosta è attrezzata con bar, parco giochi, area barbecue e noleggio biciclette gratuito e anche con possibilità di navetta per il centro…lo consiglio vivamente a tutti se passate per Vieste.

Sitting on its white cliffs in the protected Gargano National Park, ancient Vieste (10 minutes’ drive) has a small sandy beach as well as an atmospheric Romanesque cathedral and medieval castle to check out. Follow the castle walls to viewpoints over the whitewashed Old Town, or take a boat trip to the Baia delle Zagare to spy sea stacks and cliffside caves close up. Peschici (20 minutes) is another pretty town to explore, with a labyrinth of bar- and boutique-lined lanes. It’s also springboard for trips to the rocky beaches and dramatic limestone cliffs of the Tremiti Island (90 minutes by ferry), where you can snorkel and scuba dive in clear water, swim off sandy beaches and have a nose around the 11th-century hilltop Abbazia di Santa Maria a Mare. Back on the mainland, walk and cycle trails through the beach forest and Aleppo pines of Gargano National Park, keeping an eye open all the while for the rare orchids that bloom there.
