Local attractions

With a large sandy beach sheltered by vegetation-covered cliffs on one side and a long harbour arm on the other, Peschici (20 minutes’ drive) has a pretty centre of narrow alleyways lined with whitewashed fishermen’s cottages and flowerpots full of colourful blooms. Climb up to the medieval hilltop castle for spectacular views of the coast. When you want a break from sea and sand, you can arrange an excursion to the Riserva Naturale della Foresta Umbra (35 minutes). Here, among the beech and oak trees, you might spot roe deer, weasels and woodpeckers, plus a remarkable variety of wild orchids. The Spiaggia della Scialara beach in Vieste (40 minutes) is famed for the Monolite Pizzomunno, a monumental freestanding limestone rock. The Museo Malacologico Vieste displays shells from all over the world, while the Scalinata dell’Amore, a staircase decorated with love hearts and the lyrics of a romantic Italian song, is a top spot for a selfie with your other half.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
The site will send you further check-in information 2 day(s) before your arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Changes cannot be made once you have booked.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs are required to wear a muzzle.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped.

Extras

A charge of €0.50 (£0.43) applies for the use of the shower.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
Entertainment and activities are available between 01/07 and 31/08.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Please note that the shower facilities are unisex.
Quiet (afternoon) hours must be respected between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m..
Quiet hours must be respected between 12 a.m. and 7 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
Refunds within the indicated cancellation period are only possible if the site is able to relet your unit/pitch.
The bar is open between 01/06 and 08/09.
The grocery shop is open between 01/06 and 08/09.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

Hired accommodation

Hired accommodation: €100.00 (£85.58) damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found.
No naked flames are allowed inside the hired accommodation units.
The damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit required on arrival can only be paid for in cash.
Your unit must be left clean and tidy; a fine of €60.00 (£51.35) will be charged for unclean units upon departure.

Occupancy

Bookings must not consist of more than 2 different households.
No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.

Pitches

You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Pool

Only park guests are authorised to use the pool.
Some facilities require the wearing of swim caps.
Swimsuits are obligatory and swimming shorts or Bermuda shorts are not permitted.
The outdoor swimming pool is open between 01/06 and 08/09 (subject to weather conditions).

Reception

Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. between 24/05 and 14/09.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
No electric barbecues allowed.
No gas barbecues allowed.
Open fires are prohibited.

Vehicles

The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/campervan please select the extra.
Units longer than 7 metres are not allowed.

Visitors

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
Visitors must leave the premises by 7:30 p.m..
Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.

Additional terms

Pitches: a €100 deposit (cash only) is required for pitches upon arrival and will be refunded at the end of the stay. Pitches must be kept clean and in good order, a €30 cleaning fee will otherwise be deducted from the deposit.

Pitches: access to the swimming pool is not included in the rate and is charged at €5.00 per person, per day from 24 May to 25 July and 1 September to 14 September, and €8 per person, per day from 26 July to 31 August.
