Camping North Wind is on the most northern point of Lake Como, in a good setting for active holidays on land and water; try hiking, climbing and mountain biking in the mountains in summer and skiing or snowshoe trekking in winter. For a quieter vibe, take in the lake views and traditional cuisine of the local villages around Domaso.
Lake Como has many famed sights to see, such as its Villa del Balbianello, built in 1700, and the gardens of Villa Serbellonii, built in 1605 in the high part of Bellagio, with over 18 kilometres' worth of walking paths.
The site is also well set to explore northern Italy and the cities of Lecco, Como and Milan, as well as Switzerland, with its border a few kilometres away.
