You'll be bang next to lovely Lake Garda with a stay at Camping Il Faro in Italy’s Lombardy region: this peaceful family-run waterside site is 50 metres from a lake beach between Rocca di Garda and San Biagio island, and also within easy reach of pedalo rentals, watersports and hikes. Welcoming guests since 1980, this is a peaceful site that places emphasis on relaxing among spectacular surroundings; there’s no entertainment here – just a series of gentle distractions. Ping pong tables and a small sports area are on hand for active times, and for afterwards, there's a 224-square-metre outdoor swimming pool with a roomy sun terrace and deckchairs (open during high season only). A grassy relaxation area with umbrellas and yet more sun loungers dotted around is at your disposal too for more spells spent horizontally. Pitches are spacious and grassy, and offer plenty of shade from the scorch of the Italian sun, and when it comes to feeding time, guests are welcome to sizzle up their own fodder on the barbecue or make the most of all the soft grassy areas around the site and park up with a picnic. If you're up for venturing off site, tickets can be reserved for local events and shows, and boat excursions can be booked from nearby marinas to Sirmione, Bardolino and Lazise right on site, at the reception area’s handy tourist info point.

Liked Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia 2 notti e ci siamo trovati molto bene, il campeggio è sul lago e vicino ci sono baretti e anche una pizzeria. Il campeggio è diviso in due parti, le piazzole più vicino al lago la maggior parte completamente all ombra e una parte con casette, stagionali piscina.
Ottimo punto di partenza per una bella passeggiata intorno al lago.
I bagni sono nuovi e puliti.

Disliked Quello che non mi è piaciuto è più riferito a molti campeggi che questo in particolare, ma visto che i bagni sono di recente costruzione, non sarebbe possibile includere una bagno per famiglie? Ormai i bambini sono sempre insieme non sarebbe male aiutare nella gestione della doccia le famiglie.

Les emplacements sont très proche du lac, les markets sont a proximité

Disliked Servizi scadenti per la maleducazione delle persone. Impossibile caricare acqua, troppo lontano dalla postazione e c’era troppa gente. Meglio evitare di muovere il mezzo.

Liked Absolument tout, ce camping est extrêmement propre, les propriétaires tres gentils et la fréquentation principalement composé de gens qui sont propriétaires de leur emplacement, resultat...une ambiance familiale et paisible avec beaucoup de personnes à la retraite.la pisicne est tres bien, notre emplacement pour une tente tres spacieux, de l'herbe au sol et de la place pour notre voiture. L'accès au lac du camping, le restaurent et le glacier a proximité sont un plus également. Nous avons vraiment pris plaisir et nous sommes reposé. Merci pour l'accueil. Rapport qualité prix superbe.

Disliked Pas de papier toilette dsns les sanitaires vers l'accueil, nous avions prévu faite en de meme 😅.
Le bruit provenant d'autres camping plus loin est parfois handicapant, prévoyez les boules quies meme si ce nest pas tous les soirs non plus.

A serviced and dog-friendly beach is next to the site, a 50-metre stroll away. You can hire pedalos here, or should you be in the market for something just a tad more adrenalised, ask the friendly site team about which nearby spots are good for watersports (there are plenty). From the site you can also embark on highly scenic promenades around Garda’s pretty perimeter, or into the surrounding countryside among olive and lemon groves and palm, oleander and orange trees. The climb up to Rocca di Garda is a trip well worth taking, as here you’ll be 650 feet above the waters below for an utterly spectacular vista. To keep the kids topped up with gleeful squeals, visit Gardaland theme park for rides and attractions to suit all ages (including grownups), and to the neighbouring Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium to witness live shark feeding (if you’re not too squeamish) and to explore its 13 themed areas with 40 tanks housing more than 5,000 water creatures.
