Standing high over the Ligurian village of Cogoleto, Parco Vacanze Villa Athena is a quiet and family-friendly holiday park surrounded by olive and juniper trees – and from the pitches at this hilltop eyrie, you have far-reaching views down to the Mediterranean Sea. Handy family facilities on site include parent-and-baby washrooms, drying areas for clothes and communal freezers to keep all your edible goodies fresh. Shared barbecues are provided should you be self-catering, but there’s also a casual bar for family get-togethers on the terrace. What with the swimming pool, snacks or drinks on hand and evening entertainment in high season, there’s no real reason to ever leave this leafy hideaway, but it’s good to know that the beaches of the Ligurian Riviera are only 10 minutes’ drive away. Alternatively, turn inland and head for the hiking and cycling trails of Monte Beigua Natural Regional Park (20 minutes).

Liked Great experience lovely hosts and very welcoming and accommodating as we have requested a more grassy pitch

Disliked Mosquitos however that part of Italy will have mosquitos during hot season so nothing to do with the campsite itself

Liked la posizione è bella anche se scomoda rispetto al mare ed a qualsiasi attività commerciale, se si andasse senza auto o moto, solo con il camper, diventa ingestibile.

Disliked i servizi igienici solo due per parecchi camper tende e roulette, una sola doccia. La pulizia praticamente autogestita. Il carico delle acque è in piazzola con un lavandino montato alla meglio , lo scarico devi muovere il camper

Disliked Nous avons réservé un terrain pour dormir en voiture. Le camping n'est pas accessible au voiture basse il faut un suv ou 4x4 j'ai frotter mon parchoc à plusieurs endroits, une fois arrivé à l'emplacement on s'installe sauf qu'il y avait une voiture, le proprio du camping à demander à la voiture de bouger. Une dizaine de minutes apres il vient nous voir pour nous dire qu'il y a une tente qui va venir sur notre emplacement donc soit on se serai le plus possible à la bordure soit on partait et on se mettais devant une borne électrique.
Je trouve sa inadmissible de la part d'un camping.

Take a selfie by Renzo Piano’s gleaming, spherical La Biosfera, and later in the day visit the cute fishing village of Boccadasse (also 40 minutes) for a seafood supper at sunset.
