What customers say

This campsite offers a natural setting with spacious, shaded pitches and is conveniently located for visiting Rome, with a €1 shuttle to the train station. While the reception staff are frequently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness, many guests report significant issues with cleanliness and maintenance of facilities, particularly the bathrooms and showers. The campsite appears dated to some, with closed facilities and a general lack of upkeep, though others highlight its potential and quiet atmosphere. Some guests found the swimming pool to be a positive feature.

Liked Es gab nichts positives

Disliked Anlage, dunkel , feucht, kein WLAN, kein Satelitenempfang.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass pitch

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked Nothing. The place is dirty, untidy. Houses look disrepaired, the swimming pool had green water. I tidy up our place to stay for one night. As a hight point there came a wild pig directly to our camper. A group of young people, that stayed there some houses below were noisy until 3 p.m.

Disliked Terrible place that we cannot recommend. And as a high point expensive.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked Whilst I can see that this site may appeal to some with young-ish children, it didn't suit my needs as a single, mature traveller. Its only attraction was its proximity to Rome, but even the shuttle bus runs only once, at 0845 and back once at 1900 (assuming you don't want to ride it in the opposite directions and spend the night in Rome!)

Disliked The 'welcome' at the gate was poor, even though I said I had booked, I was made to park in a vulnerable spot and then walk for about 500 metres to reception to register. There was in fact plenty of parking there, and having prebooked and at the end of a long day, I was annoyed to have been made to do that. The pitches are very close to the site bar and were very noisy into the evening. The service facilities were so inadequate as to be invisible. I didn't investigate the toilets or showers, but the whole place has a run down appearance. It has a number of permanent residents and the bus seems to be laid on mostly for their convenience.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked The receptionist was very helpful and friendly and location is close to Rome. We got a train to Vatican City from La Giustiniana for €1.

Disliked Not the camping pitch we were expecting - a field of soft grass. What we actually got was the campsite’s finest gravel car park experience - a place so hostile to tent pegs it could double as a medieval torture device. I’ve seen nicer conditions on a motorway lay-by. The grass verge outside the site looked like it was mocking us, swaying in the breeze like, ‘should’ve picked me.’

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass pitch

Local attractions

Hail the regular shuttle bus from Seven Hills Village for a teeny sum to be set down at La Giustiniana station, a 20-minute subway ride to the Vatican. From there, Rome awaits: mosey along to the Coliseum, Trevi Fountain and St Peter's Basilica, or just amble around the ancient streets and squares among the old architecture and green public parks. Arty sorts should most certainly check out the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, the MAXXI museum and the National Gallery of Modern Art; if your appreciation of beauty tends to be more fashion-based, take your euros and your clothing taste to the swish boutiques of the Via dei Condotti. Outside the city, it's about 35 minutes' drive (or a bus ride from the metro station) to the vast waters of famed Lake Bracciano, one of the biggest lakes in Italy. There's the ancient town and the medieval castle of Orsini-Odescalchi to potter around in the lake vicinity, but if you'd rather get out onto the water, sailing, swimming, diving and canoeing are all available.
