Electric grass and earth pitch
Liked: Nothing absolutely dismal, the marketing photos are extremely misleading
Disliked: Where to start, definitely a experience, the pitch literally looked like the owner had moved the dumped mattresses and abandoned car especially for our arrival, soft (like a compost heap) mole hill covered, with no grass, overgrown with tall weeds, so soft my disabled wife couldn’t leave the van, we tried boiling the camping kettle, but even with Everything off it kept tripping the electric, told the owner, who changed the breaker from a 2 amp to a 3 amp, so just about ample, the wife who’s quite picky, described the site on arrival, as derelict, I’m not so picky, but definitely the worst site I’ve been

Liked: The family atmosphere. Being somewhere that the average tourist doesn’t get baked beans and bacon and Robbie Williams. Lizards changing colour. Refreshments. Nature sounds. SUN. Location in the country but near enough to drive into Rome and beach. Ace swimming pool, entertainment superb (one man exactly like my best friend). To sum up:: A family run Italian campsite that has everything a non baked bean tourist would love, and from this comes a great respect like no other. Expect what a country can give you, i.e. experiences, tastes, sounds, culture, history, ideas, etc., and not what your country can give you i.e. bacon sarnie, cup of tea, latest British charts.
Disliked: Switzerland after leaving Sunset
