It’s all about unwinding and recharging your batteries among stunning scenery at Camping Onlycamp des Adoubes – this well-maintained and nicely landscaped Savoie campsite is surrounded by spectacular views of the Alps, and pitches have plenty of space from which to soak up all the mountain views. This family-friendly site is on the edge of Albertville, which guests of a certain age will remember as the host city for the 1992 Winter Olympics. That past accolade gives you a hint that this is an area full of outdoor activities – canyoning, caving and watersports can all be on the schedule here, as well as hikes and bike rides for all ages. When you’re not out and about, you can play games of pétanque or table tennis on site, challenge yourself to a workout on the fitness trail… or just chill out at your pitch while the kids hit the play area. There’s a small grocery store on site to help keep everyone fed and watered – and of course the shops, supermarkets and restaurants of central Albertville are handily a few minutes’ drive away too. Pitches at Camping Onlycamp des Adoubes are spacious, partly shaded by trees and easily accessed via a hardstanding track. Practical amenities to make family camping life a breeze include hot showers, a baby room and washing-up sinks, along with facilities for mobility-impaired guests. If you need any advice or tips on the area, you can just ask at reception.

Disliked Ho prenotato con anticipo 2 notti per una piazzola e al mio arrivo sono stato sistemato in una piazzola che non era numerata come tale ma uno spazio di ripiego ( a detta della receptionist il campeggio era tutto pieno ma allora che prendi a fare le prenotazioni se non sai gestirle ? ) e infatti non aveva ne un albero ne un posticino dove mettere un amaca...inoltre era situata esattamente lungo il passaggio delle macchine che uscivano dalle loro piazzole quindi molto scomoda.
Per finire ho deciso di fermarmi solo una notte e quando sono andato a chiedere il rimborso della notte che non avrei fatto visto che non mi ero trovato bene...chiaramente questo era impossibile ma cmq ho preferito lasciargli 20 euro piuttosto che rimanere sistemati così

Comme vous l'avez mentionné, notre camping était complet et nous avons essayé de vous accommoder au maximum. Nous pensions que tout ce passait bien pour vous comme nous n'avons pas eu de nouvelles de votre part. Nous restons toujours à disposition toute la journée en cas de problème.
En revanche, j'aimerais seulement préciser que vous êtes partis très rapidement sans nous donner de raison et vous n'avez pas non plus demandé un remboursement.
Il est donc impossible pour nous de vous aider dans ce cas...

Liked Na plus zdecydowanie szybka i anglojęzyczna możliwość komunikacji z właścicielką. Na miejscu czysto i schludnie. Nie zabraliśmy przejściówki CEE>230v ale to nasz błąd. Miejsce wygląda ładnie, zlokalizowane blisko autostrady i rzeki w urzekającej górskiej okolicy. Zdecydowanie polecam odwiedzić i zostać na dłużej.

Liked The site was nicely laid out with plenty space and very flat. It was also within easy walking distance of Albertville town centre and it's shop and restaurants.

The staff were very welcoming, but oddly asked if we were really staying 2 nights and wondered if we did want to try their other sites.

Disliked The site is right between 2 busy roads. You can't see them, but you can hear them - especially during the day. The site is also a little tired and needs some tlc. The showers weren't that great - or maybe we'd been spoilt at other sites.

Finally, just after we arrived the site was overrun by a very large group of travellers. They were actually fine, but they virtually took over the site.

Local attractions

Ready for a bit of adventure? Be brave and leap into a canyoning outing at Canyon des Cascades de Tailles (15 minutes’ drive) or head to Grotte et Cascade de Seythenex (half an hour) to zipline across a 45-metre waterfall and take a tour of the underground caverns. WAM Park (15 minutes) has lots of exciting activities too, including a wake park, a tree-climbing course, an inflatable aqua park and paddleboarding. All sound a little exhausting? Perhaps instead you’d like to take a stroll through the narrow streets of the medieval town of Conflans (five minutes) or see some of the spectacular mountain scenery from above as you ride in the Aiguille du Midi cable car (about an hour). One of the landscape highlights of the area is surely Lake Annecy (half an hour), where you can walk or bike along the lakeside trail, take a dip in the clear waters from a beach area or find historic sights like Château de Duingt (35 minutes).
