What customers say

This riverside campsite is praised for its spacious pitches, friendly staff, and beautiful location near Trevoux. Facilities are generally considered clean and good, with hot showers noted. Many appreciate the ability to choose their own pitch. Some visitors mention the lack of toilet paper and soap in facilities, and a few found the site basic with limited activities. The nearby pizza van is a highlight. It's considered a good stopover location.

Local attractions

Pedally peeps will be pleased to learn that a 14-kilometre towpath lies right in front of the site; alternatively, if you’re more into your jumps and dirt trails, head to the Dombes plateau, 23 kilometres from base, to traverse its 16 mountain bike circuits. Two hiking trails are marked out here too if you’d rather take a slower approach. For a city-based jaunt, UNESCO-listed Lyon is around 40 minutes’ drive away, or about an hour and a half on a bike alongside the Saône if you’re feeling particularly energetic. Stick around to sample the city’s famed gastronomy in between exploring sights such as the museum of fine arts, the spectacular hilltop church and museum of Fourvière, and the 14th-century cathedral.
