General
Camping Les 3 Lacs du Soleil is a 30-hectare campsite on the edge of three lakes, between Lyon and Grenoble.
The site has a flat and grassy camping field with great views of the distant mountains and forests and direct access to a sandy beach. There is plenty of activity on offer at the campsite. There is a seasonal programme of leisure activities, a multi-purpose sports area, an indoor play area, mini golf, two tennis courts, an outdoor pool and paddling pool and a lakeside beach with a waterslide.
Additional facilities include two toilet blocks, family-friendly washrooms, disabled facilities, a launderette, a washing-up area and a small shop (open in summer). The site also has free wifi.
If you don't fancy cooking on holidays, you can always visit the restaurant or the snack bar. The restaurant has a beautiful terrace overlooking one of the lakes.

Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children in one booking.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.
Large groups: check the listing page for any group restrictions set out in the terms and section titled ‘Please note’.
Large tents/caravans: check the restrictions on unit dimensions to ensure your unit is suitable for the space you will be provided with.

Local attractions
There are plenty of things to do nearby including fishing, swimming and for the more energetic, rollerblading.
Discover the heritage of Crémieu. Walkers and architecture fans will find a wealth of interesting sites here, like the fifteenth-century covered market hall, where a market is held every Wednesday morning, the old Augustins Convent and its pretty cloisters, the twelfth-century Delphinal Castle perched on top of a hill, old houses and fortified gateways (Porte de la Loi, Porte Neuve and Porte de Quirieu). Every September, the town fills up with people for the Les Médiévales, a festive event dedicated to the Middle Age with shows, royal dances, street entertainment, a craft market and banquet.
Morestel, the so-called city of painters, dominated by a tall medieval tower, is lovely to stroll around. The town is worth a visit for its fantastic viewpoint over the surrounding countryside, Le Bugey and the Alps.
You can also visit Saint Chef Abbey, where visitors can admire magnificent Romanesque frescoes and La Balme Caves, located in the Lower Dauphiné in the village of La Balme-les-Grottes in the cliffs of the Isle-Crémieu plateau.
