Got on site had to phone as unmanned reception .
Asked if the restaurant and bar was open and was told no closed.
But the pool was open but you can't eat or drink a pool.
Shower was cold no hot water.
But still paid top price for no access to amenities .
So all we got was a rough old piece of ground to park the campervan .
Would not recommend this site in early September.

Disliked: Cold shower no food or drink available.

Liked: Warm welcome. Spacious pitch. Clean facilities. Hosts spoke good English so that we understood all information. Easy access to section of River Doux for paddleboard and attempt at fly fishing (plenty of fish seen but none caught). An hour walk along south of river into Tournon-son-Rhone. Cycle path for most of north side of river which gave access to Rhone river side cycle path. Tournon-sir-Rhône has great selection of shops and restaurants, including excellent microbrewery adjacent to the Intermarche. Close proximity to Train de Gorge, a steam train which gives a 90 minute return journey to view gorge. Bar on site was open on Friday and Saturday for drinks and pizza. WiFi only available in the bar area.

Local attractions

If you’re a sucker for some spectacular scenery, there are several ways to take in the views. While there are hiking and cycling trails directly from the site, and you can find fishing (15 minutes’ drive) or horse riding (five minutes) nearby, the narrow gauge railway at Train de l’Ardèche (five minutes’ drive) is an easy way to admire passing gorges. Other scenic areas include the steep slopes at Gorges de la Vallée du Doux (an hour and 45 minutes), the prehistoric paintings in the Chauvet Cave (an hour and 45 minutes) or the natural bridge across the Ardèche river at Pont d’Arc (an hour and 45 minutes). You may agree that the animal world is rather attractive too. If so, head to Safari de Peaugres (35 minutes) for a drive-through zoo and aquarium with animals such as zebras and bears. On the flip side, Tournon-sur-Rhône (45 minutes) wows with its castles, vineyards and footbridge. Secretly something of a wine connoisseur? Put the local wines to the test with a tour around the vineyard Terres de Syrah (15 minutes). If you’re particularly interested in the art of alcohol, there’s a heritage brewery at Musée de L’alambic, Les Prés (half an hour) too.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

General

Entertainment and activities are available between 10/07 and 22/08.
Quiet hours must be respected between 12 a.m. and 7 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

Pool

Only park guests are authorised to use the pool.
Please note there is no lifeguard on duty.
Swimsuits are obligatory and swimming shorts or Bermuda shorts are not permitted.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.
No charcoal barbecues allowed.
Open fires are prohibited.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
No vehicle movement between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/campervan please select the extra.
The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted on site.
Twin axle vehicles are not permitted on site.
