Liked: A great little campsite, super friendly and helpful site owners, toilets and showers have just been updated and are clean, bright and spacious, the pitches are a good size plenty of area to sit and relax.
With its beautiful back drop of Saint-Bonnet-le-Chateau, and surroundings fields, fishing lake and great dog walks, it a perfect place to stay

Local attractions

This is a nifty location for all sorts of outdoor activities – perhaps heading out onto the scenic trails running from Rosières, canoeing along the Chassezac or Ardèche rivers or cycling along the Via Ardèche. A couple of local stables offer horse riding along (and sometimes through) the river, and activity providers can take you further into the Monts d’Ardèche Regional Natural Park for climbing or canyoning adventures. The Bois de Païolive is a popular place for a walk, especially as it stays relatively cool on summer days, and you can get up into the treetops on the trails at Entertainment Adventure Camp. Both are 25 minutes’ drive away. A huge highlight of this area is Vallon Pont d’Arc (half an hour), where you can hire canoes to paddle down the river through the Gorges de l’Ardèche to see the huge Pont d’Arc stone arch. Stop by at Grotte chauvet 2 - Ardèche (35 minutes) while you’re here, to see a replica of the UNESCO-listed caves with their ancient wall paintings.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
Quiet hours must be respected between 10:30 p.m. and 8 a.m..
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Vehicles

No vehicle movement between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m..
Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.
