Local attractions

The city of Orange is located in the South of France, in the heart of Côtes du Rhône. Orange has an ideal setting for your stay in Provence. It has two important witnesses of Roman times: the Arc de Triomphe and the Ancient Theatre, both monuments classified as World Heritage by UNESCO. Thanks to its sunny climate, the city is surrounded by prestigious vineyards like Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Vinsobres, Rasteau and Chateauneuf du Pape. Come and discover this vibrant city and taste generous and exceptional local products.

Every Thursday morning in Orange a large Provençal market is held in the streets of the city. Since 1869, the Chorégies festival has specialized in opera, giving the city an international prestige and worldwide fame. The festival takes place every year in July and August. Two or three operas and symphony concerts are offered to opera lovers. The greatest performers and conductors have played on this legendary stage of the Theatre Antique.

Discover Avignon and its fortifications. The city of Popes, with its wonderful architecture, the Pope's Palace or Pont d'Avignon, where we dance, we dance... as we say in the famous French song "Sur le Pont d'Avignon". It is a vibrant city where you will find a warm welcome, and many shops.

The Mont Ventoux, Giant of Provence is a great place to explore on foot, on skis, by bike,or by car. It is the place to visit in Vaucluse

The Wine Trail, from Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes, through Cairanne, Rasteau, Beaume de Venise, Gigondas, will enable you to discover the great vintages of Côtes du Rhône, to the mythical appellation of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

The sea is just an hour from Marseille and Le Grau-du-Roi. You will be able to enjoy the weather and the pleasures of the Mediterranean sea.

Patrick will be happy to help you organise your days out.
