Liked: Well kept site. One facilities block better than the other, being more modern. Great hairdryer, wall mounted. First time I've seen one like this. Bar area nice and welcoming. Reasonable price for drinks.

Disliked: Very cramped site. Small pitches in tight corners. Disabled facilities not stoma friendly. Strange set up to book in. Parking bays for book in located after the barrier that you can't go through until you've checked in! Swimming pool not heated.

Liked: Zowat alles, propere en goed onderhouden douches, goed onderhouden staanplaatsen. Klein maar gezellig restaurantje. Het winkeltje is een beetje beperkt van boodschappen maar in de buurt waren grootwarenhuizen waar je boodschappen kon doen.

Local attractions

A mere 15-minute drive from the site just past La Motte are the Gorges du Pennafort, for subterranean cave explores, rock pool investigations, river fishing and jumping into the water from rocky plateaus. Pack up the car to take an easy day trip to the famously swanky French coastal spots of Cannes, Nice and Monaco on the French Riviera, or if travelling with tiddlers in tow, whisk yourself and them off to Aqualand waterpark near Fréjus. The pretty Provençal village of Fayence is a short drive away from base too: here you can tour its famed pottery studios or, if you’re of a braver disposition, there’s an airfield to get stuck into alpine microlight flights from. Also within easy reach are dolphin shows at Marineland in Antibes, a merveilleux menagerie at Fréjus and an adventure park in Le Muy.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Pool

Only park guests are authorised to use the pool.

Reception

If reception is closed on arrival: please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. between 06/04 and 01/11.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.
Open fires are prohibited.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
No vehicle movement between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
Twin axle vehicles are not permitted on site.
