Those of you with adventurous blood running through your veins may be in store for a good time here. With the skydiving centre at Air Play Parachutisme VAR Fayence (10 minutes’ drive) and rock climbing at the scenic Gorges du Blavet (25 minutes) within driving distance, you might just set your sights on new heights, no matter whether you’re a beginner or a more advanced adrenaline junkie. Watersports also have a strong stance in this area. La Base des Arcs (35 minutes) is a proper spot for whitewater rafting, kayaking or mountain biking, while Lac de Saint-Cassien has a reel of ways to get wet, including boating, fishing, swimming and watersports. Siagne (25 minutes) has kayaking too, and its hiking routes offer up activity onshore. Once you’ve had your run of the watersports hotspots, it may be that you’d like to pay a visit to the zoo at Parc Zoologique de Fréjus (35 minutes) or perhaps go for a different type of dive – into the arts scene in Cannes (50 minutes).
